What are the requirements for joining The Commandos Elite?:

You must be at least level 25 to join.
You must be able to follow the guild guidelines.
You must have fun while playing the game!

Guild Guidelines:

Treat all players with respect.
Help each other WHEN you can.
Be Friendly!
Have fun playing.

Not tolerated:

SCAMMING
Bullying
Harassing other players, sexually or otherwise!
Begging in Guild chat!
Lewd chatting.
Obscenities are not tolerated in guild chat.

Things to keep in mind.:


If officers or other members don't reply in guild chat they are usually busy.
Be patient.
We find it distasteful of items given by guild members to help you out are sold off for gold at the auction.
If you wish to sell items in-guild, please do so at a price considerably lower than what is posted in the auction.

New members will be subject to a 1 week probationary period wherein the Officers or Guild Master will be observing the applicants behavior and actions. Should the applicant be unable to comply with the guild guidelines, he/she may be removed from the guild.
We are a mixed nationalities guild. When speaking or having conversations in Guild Chat, using English is a must, because we don't want other members to feel left out. Our vigilant enforcer and officers do moderate the chat, so we hope that this is observed.



Guild Promotions:

All promotions are subject to the applicant's observance of the guild's guidelines. The Guildmaster has the final say in all promotions or demotions.


A member can request to be promoted to Recruiter/Sergeant but will be subject to the ff:

• There should be an opening in the position of Recruiter/Sergeant.
• Majority of the senior officers should agree that the member should be promoted.
• Member should at least be level 26.
• Member should at least be familiar with the guild guidelines.
• Member should have at least done something to help the guild.

Recruiters/Sergeant are chosen from members deemed to be worthy. This is a privilege and a responsibility.


Recruiter/Sergeant:


Recruiter/Sergeant can request to be promoted but will be subject to the ff:

• Majority of the Officers/Majors should agree that the Recruiter/Sergeant should be promoted.
• Recruiter/Sergeant should at least be level 30.
• Recruiter/Sergeant Should at least be familiar with the guild guidelines.
• Recruiter/Sergeant should have at least done something to help the guild.
• Recruiter/Sergeant should active on the site and participate in the officers discussions.
• Recruiter/Sergeant should have at least recruited level 25 and above members into the guild.

Sergeant Duties/Perks:

• Recruiter/Sergeant should know the guild guidelines.
• You must be able to recruit level 25 and above players. (Should you not be able to do this you may be demoted back to member.)
• Recruiter/Sergeant are still eligible to win prizes in guild activities/events.
• Recruiter/Sergeant are considered to be mentors to the new recruits.
• Recruiter/Sergeant are not obligated to contribute monthly to the guild bank but may do so if they wish but are subject to a 10k gold bond which
• Recruiter/Sergeant should be able to assist members in normal dungeons.
• Recruiter/Sergeant are eligible to be nominated for member of the month.


*If a Recruiter/Sergeant character is inactive for more than a month, he/she will be demoted back to the rank of member to make way for other more deserving guild members.


Officer/Major:

Qualifications:

You must be at least level 30 to qualify.
You must be visible to the other officers and Guild master/General in helping your guild mates.
You must observe the guild guidelines posted above.
You must be able to assist other members in elite and normal dungeons.
Active Officers/Majors and the Guild Master will determine if you are qualified for promotion.

Major Duties/Perks:

• Officers/Majors should know the guild guidelines.
• Officers/Majors are not eligible to win prizes but may participate in activities/events set up for members.
• Officers/Majors are eligible to take out loans from the guild bank, to be paid back with minimal interest.
• Officers/Majors are obligated to provide a tithe of 10k gold to the guild bank, per month.
• Officers/Majors should be able to assist members/officers in Elite and Normal Dungeons.

*Officer/Majors whose accounts have been inactive for more than two months will be demoted to member. This is to cycle the pool and make way for more active members. However, when you are ready to commit once more, you may re-apply for the position.

Skydagger, the art is brilliant. It has sort of a feel of the CCCP flag, yellow, red and a sickle looking letter "C". Kind of cold war era-ish. I don't know if the color or familiarity might raise eyebrows, or was that the idea? If not, maybe you can change the flag color a bit or maybe post the metal sig? Not critcizing your work. I like it, i'm just saying the kind of feeling it brings out especially during these times with the news about the possible escalation of war in N. Korea.

@Caz, you came up with a good point with regards to the gun. These weapons are pretty powerful now. I would say that the ratio pf mages using guns would be 60-40 in favor of guns. There are still a lot of great mages out there carrying squid sticks since it still has very high DPS for a level 26 item.

I agree with what you said. However, I believe that the guild logo represents our characteristics, individualities, strengths and weaknesses. (speech time, patriotic music plays and a 40% opaque flag starts waving behind athenum.)

Seriously, this guild is new-ish. We were "The Commanders" the old thread can be located here (http://www.spacetimestudios.com/showthread.php?91928-The-Commanders-Now-an-elite-farming-guild). We had a "creepy" incident similar to what happened to the "Beast" guild and decided it would be best to start from scratch to prevent it from ever happening again. Thanks to the officers and members' efforts we were able to rebuild.

I've heard a lot about your guild and I've seen that most players that I've met from your guild are well-mannered and play well. I have to thank you guys for that since it's because of players like you that make this game really pleasant. Been meaning to speak with your GM, Lok, about an alliance between our guilds but I've been busy doing a lot of admin work to get things working again.

Tao, I'm not so sure about the loot ratio of locked crates but I'm guessing the percentage is roughly like this:

80% epic
15% legendary
3% mythic
2% arcane

The percentage ratio of legendaries may also vary since its possible that they use a different table for epics and legendaries because of the sheer number of them.

ex: you opened a locked crate and you did get a legendary, therefore the legendary also processes a roll to see what type you got.

10% legendary rares (hmm, i can sell this...)
5% legendary epics (not bad at all!)
5% legendary legendaries (Finally I got it! YESSS!)

But as I mentioned this is just an estimate and not the actual percentage of the tables. This is just to provide an overview of how things may be computed when it comes to loot. It's also roughly the same for reroll elixirs, boss loot drops, mob drops...etc

There are more computations to keep in mind, ex: your characters level, class, location, etc... but diving into that would make this a really complex and hard to understand estimate, so i'll just stick with the crate loot table.

Once a day can work for the following reasons; you could be lucky, it extends your plat usage; you don't feel so bad if you get bad loot rolls, there's always tomorrow.

unless there's a new glitch i don't know about yet, i think that the method for loot when opening chests applies.

We would like everyone to know that paid officers can now loan up to 100k gold from the guild bank. Payment terms are easy, you simply can pay it back one month from the date you loaned the amount. Interest is a mere 5% of the total loan. Taozusaf, Katzie, Xzandria and I can handle the paperwork. All you need to do is ask, let us know how much you'd like to loan and the guild ATM machine should be able to assist you. :) Payments can be staggered: daily, weekly or in one big lump sum.

Of course as the guild funds grow, so will the amount that paid officers can borrow. So yes, do keep supporting the guild bank. We want the gold you put into it to start working for you!

I've been thinking about what you said. Incentives can really help. But the incentive has to be good enough to make the person/player want to work harder. I don't believe a high level player would really want to boost his/her stats for 10 or 20, thousand. They can get that by selling a gold warchest or locked crate.

To make things interesting, we either give a 100k or an item with equivalent or greater value. I'll go with just the officer count for this example. Let's say we have 20 people who achieve 10200 or greater ap. That's 2m that we give away to reward them. Even if I add my current savings with that of the guild bank, we'll still come up short by 1m. At this early stage in our guild, we simply don't have the resources for something that big. Especially since getting into the boards is a group effort all of us contribute therefore all of us should be rewarded.

If you can help me think of a good incentive that is achievable, please do let me know. I agree with incentives for achievers but for now, I am at a loss.

I totally agree with you Sky. The three rings do represent what all of us stand for.

If I remember correctly, the top 50 guilds do represent achievements by each member above level 15. These guilds have a lot more manpower than we do. To at least have a chance to get into the top 50 on the next update we do have to invite more people. Do you think it would be a prudent move for us to lower the recruitment level down to 15? That would certainly make recruitment easier but in exchange it would mean more of our high level members would spend less time farming elites and more time helping new members level. Keeping things as is and changing our recruitment standards both have pros and cons. Do let me know what you think about this.

If we are heading towards top 50, need strategy. There's 13 criteria to that, and we may need to see what we are capable of achieving.

(1) FIRST criterial of "total achievement pts" alone, let's take avg 9000/player (total 11900), number of member/guild of lv15 above stretches from
- 160-200 members for Rank #40-#50
- 200-300 members for Rank #20-#40
- 300-630 members for Rank #5-#20
- the rest are 708, 933, 967, 1265 respectively #4, #3, #2, #1.
(all approx. values)

Then again...
OverallRank#1 has approx. 300 members above lv15.
OverallRank#28 has approx. 1265 members above lv15.

Therefore, hold on with lv15 invites. The next round will be during next cap (i suppose), so will take roughly lv17-lv20 & above into calculation. Taking in lv20 above is okay, imo.

... as for the rest, need time to analyse. LOL

At least I would not mind using my time in this as even I can solo all the maps at least up Skull Cove (haven't tried the Nordr areas yet) so it would not in fact take too much time for a high-level guilder or two to run a couple of maps with lower level characters.

Alright, now for some good news!

We've been planning a lot for an Elite team of Plat using Elite Hunting players whose pots will be funded by the guild. They will be hunting for the best weapons available that are below the Mythic category. This team will of course get first picks on whatever loot they farm. Should they complete the sets or the weapons that they need, they pass it down to officers, then recruiters, finally to members. This way, we can all share and equip everyone in the guild with good-great items.

We've started with this today. The team is Led by Katzie. We have allocated the amount of 30k a day to furnish his team with the pots that they need for this difficult task. I myself will be farming to help support the high gold output for this team. Anyone else who wants to help please do so.

Another note, Tao and Sky are working on how to boost our stats to increase or standing in the guilds. Tao has created a very detailed spreadsheet with our information to check who needs more achievements. The guild can then help that player catch up with the rest. This is what we are supposed to be, a close-knit band of friends helping each other.

I know that things have been quiet event-wise but everything since ground zero has been done behind the scenes so that we could have a better.., the best guild for all of us in it.

The team is good but the drops are terrible. Even with 1 hour reroll + 30 minute most of the drops are green. Maybe it's better if we farm to add to the guild bank and equip officers that need items first.

We have good teams but bad drops. We use 1 hr and 30 min together and still get bad loot. I think it is better if we switch to different methods of equipping our guildmates. Using this much potions and plats is too expensive. I do not know how other people do it and get great items. After many runs of the elite mines all we have are a few elite gold chests and a jewel or nordr. :( The idea and theory of the elite hunting team is good. We like the idea for helping everyone but the actual drop rate is terrible. sorry.

I had to demote a couple of officer characters yesterday because of they were inactive. Although they are friends and their reasons for being inactive are very understandable. Our rules are our rules. However, they may become officers again once they are active once more. I'll be sending them e-mails/pms so that they will be informed of what happened.

Also Badulaseros has been promoted to recruiter/sergeant. This is because I would like to see our recruiters/sergeants become a little more active in the recruitment scene. Being one, means that you can recruit and have the freedom to form your own squad and mentor them in guild rules and the game. This rank is actually a rank of responsibility and command in our guild. It's officer/major with less responsibility and without the hassle of providing 10k monthly to the guild bank.

@Katzie, I can understand the difficulty of farming and based on the reports I get, drops aren't as frequent as it used to be. I agree that perhaps it's time to rethink the farming method for guild support. Lets convene with the council and see if new ideas sprout out.

@Skydagger, no problem. I myself don't get much plat. What I do get is from downloading apps and for buying a bag of platinum every now and then to show the devs that I do support and enjoy the game. When I do have some plat, I only use it for things that I actually need like inventory space. Other than that, I don't think that there is much else you need plat for to enjoy the game. You can still purchase the equipment that drops from locked crates at the auction and every now and then, klaas awards you with a reroll or combo elixir.

@Taozusaf, the table you provided sounds like a better way to handle things. As a guild we can work together to provide members with the achievements needed and award them if they are able to achieve it. Lets streamline it a bit more.

@Safiras, Thanks for your words of encouragement. Honestly, we never expected to be in the guild ranking as we just started a month ago from scratch. You are right to say that its better to have a better, comfortable environment for the members in the guild. That is what we strive for. But I don't think that we can deny that members would like to see their stats go higher. Recently, Taozusaf developed a table that shows each members' stats. We looked at it and saw many achievers and many people who lack achievements. We want to raise that to boost the character, if by any chance what we do for each individual helps us get into the ranking, great. If not, that wasn't the original goal.

Looking up at guild performance/stats sometimes helps because it gives us something to work for even after you've completed the equipment set you want and after you've finished the game several times. It gives us purpose to work as a team for each other, and to provide help to people in our guild who need it.

After deliberating the benefits of the rank of sergeant/recruiter we have come to the conclusion that it will benefit the guild greatly if we add more to our ranks. The are the squad leaders of the newcomers that they recruit. They help mentor recruits in the way of the guild and show them how things are done. Chili and Bad have shown a lot of effort in recruiting and helping new guys out. They are now the new team leaders for the sergeant level.

The current list is as follows:

Announcement: If you've noticed we've moved the GM title to the guild's first officer: Katzie. The reason for this is because I Athenum do have a lot of RL things to work on. It's best that the guild has an active GM at all times.

After careful deliberation with the council, most of us have decided to cycle the GM title through the guild council. This council is composed of a few officers who are next in line for the title. Each of them will have two weeks to be GM before passing it on to the next council member. They in effect will have full power and might/will/can implement changes to the guild to improve the guild.
