What's its correct name? I've seen devs and players alike refer to it as AO3 but I can't see anything in-game that mentions that and in fact the area is called "Trials of the Galatic Overlord". Shouldn't we call it TotGO then?

Yeah it's weird. I think the official name is Alien Oasis: Part III: Trials of the Galactic Overlord. However, in the host game screen it mentions AO3 nowhere, and in the buy campaigns area, it seems to be referred to as Alien Oasis: Part III: Return of the Warlord. All I can say is I'm glad they dropped the AO3 part from the name for the join screen. I was tired of not being able to search for just the top campaign (no way to search just AO1 or AO2 iow). Anyway, to get back to your question, seems like you can call it what you want. I'm going to try starting a new thing and call it Return of the Warlord ;)
