View Full Version : says i can not go to the next area ...

hi guys...
need a little help, im at level 14 and trying to go to next area... every time i go to map and hit stronghold it says " you can not enter this are a until you have completed the last area"
what is the deal? i have go through the ydra forest numerous times....
is there a boss i need to kill?
is it stopping me cuz i need to do a quest?
is it that im lvl 14?

I guess this is kind of confusing. The campaigns go in the order of Brackenbridge, Ydra Forest, Dead City, Kraken Isles then Nordr (whose town is Stronghold). So this means that after Ydra Forest, you have to clear the Dead City campaign then clear the Kraken Isles campaign, and then you can do the Nordr campaign.
You also might be able to go to Stronghold through Kraag because there's a portal by the spawn area in Kraag that leads to Stronghold but I'm not sure if that portal works if you haven't completed to previous campaigns. Hope this answers your question.

Plus you have to be lvl 23 i think. I heard that from somebody so not sure.

you have to complete the first nordr map. to do that, go to Kraag, and enter the big gates near Seer Hox. after you're done with Jurn Woods, you can visit the Stronghold!

sorry for the yelling but... lol ... im going to talk loud, cuz im frustrated... :mad: what do i need to do to get ydra finished so that i can move forward to (what seem to be) dead city. need to lvl up? need to finish all quests?

Yes next is..Deadcity, kraken, Nordr
To get to dead city go to Kraag an walk torwards the Hauntlet which is far right, but bedore gettin to the hauntlet go south where the guy with cannonballs is, thats the entrance

To get to dead city, go to Kragg. Near the cannons there is an NPC that will give you a quest for Dead City. Then you can go through the portal near the cannons.
Once you have cleared all Dead City maps, to get to Kraken Isles, go to City of Windmoore. You can travel to the Kraken isles through the gate at the bottom of the city.
When you have finished Kraken, to travel to Nordr, go back to Kragg. Near the Tavern there is another gate that you can go through that will lead you to Nordr.

You don't have to do any of the Tombs.
The Hauntlet is just another area that you can play. I'm not sure about the blue thing.
Plus you have to be lvl 23 i think. I heard that from somebody so not sure.
yes if u want to have acces to stronghold u need to be lvl 23 and complete jurn woods map. but truly dont go there till u r not at least lvl 29+. i cant imagine lvl 23 going trough that freezing hell :D (bit exaggerating but u get the point )
it usually tells u on beginning of each map what lvl is necessary to be if u r too low. or what lvl the mobs r in map so u dont struggle unnecessary

Does it actually block you? Or does it tell you a recommended level like the other areas?

if its for Nordr u cant enter untill u r lvl 23. just info window appear telling u that.
other areas yes just recomended lvl.
but i guess it blocks u with all new areas if ur lvl is not high enough

thanks all... that was a little confusing... hummm ... maps need a "help" quest thingy or a "help" get to next map the way they are aranged...

You have to explore an figure it out. if there was a ingame map of directions, that would not be fun at all. So sts wont make a that. But then again a player could make a guide on forums. *hint*

The start for Kraken is in Windmoore. Look towards the bottom of town and there should be a quest NPC and gate that will lead you into Windmoore Harbor.
