Demonic mace set vs Orlok

I have a demonic bear, and it seems like orlok is a little (and i mean teeny) better than the mace set, due to the hit percentage. Demonic has more dps i believe, but orlok has nightmare proc. demonic also has about 60-80 more damage than orlok, but the speed of the mace is horrible. So, wich do you think is better?

I think it's weakness proc, if I'm not mistaken. Unsure, will have to check on that. I don't use orlok because it's so dang ugly.

For the most part. Demonic will wreck mages much better though, due to stun. Bear vs bear, orlok will generally win, vs bird it's a toss up. If beckon hits, either is just as good, that being said Orlok's hit may be more useful at times. In FFA, Demo is better IMO.

All preference though.

Wouldn't work at all. Items like these are only good as a set, not individual.

What are the set bonuses for each?

I am leaning towards Orlok for debuff mages these days. Demo just can't hit that well against them and it ends up in us getting crushed.

Also, Shadow, the only mix-up set that I know works well is BT Mace with Orlok gear.

Mage fights are typically too short for the debuff to be a factor. The stun and damage of the mace is much better for mages. The stun keeps them pinned, the damage eats away at their mana quicker. The debuff won't play a factor unless you're fighting a pally, and even then I prefer mace set personally.

Either way, only time you'll notice much of a difference is against Orlok bears.

I have used Orlok forever, and I have liked it for the Weakness proc (which seems to land quite often.) The other obvious plus is the bump in hit% over demonic. Us bears can't have enough hit%. ;)

That was bear vs bear, which as I stated Orlok has an advantage over, so that only fortifies what I'm saying. With his Mage he would only kill me with my buffs down, which was with Demonic.

I would say Orlok works better agaisnt bears because of it's dodge, hit %, and armor, and demonic agaisnt all other classes. Mix Demonic mace set with a red dragon ring and be surprised by it's dmg specially if any auto hits on critical. I believe the orlok proc only debuffs 10 armor, meanwhile SMS debuffs 8 armor at level 6 so it's not that much of a difference. Demonic hit % isn't that bad also, doesn't it reach at 100% with 140str, rest dex build, dragon ring (1crit, 5% hit, 10dmg, 5armor), and mecha face (2 hit%)? Mace proc, crippling, and hellscream will spam stun your opponent, so it's auto attack dmg is well worth it. Overall demonic offensive, orlok defensive your playstyle will tell you what to choose, I personally choose offensive.

Demonic mace will reach 99% hit at Max on a 61 bear

That still isn't that bad, my 56 bear with sm has 93% hit and hardly ever misses a beckon so i'm guessing 99% still has a greater chance of not "missing".

Orlok is for more "defensive" players. Demonic mace set has quite the damage and the good stun proc, so it works better for nuking.

the ridiculous hit chance boost on orlok makes it better in almost every situation
