Everytime I get a loot elixir I camp dead city bosses in hope for one, but not sure if I needto do elite but it doesn't say that on stable, I have received a granite egg however which is usually based for rooks nest, halp?

You were supposed to be able to find them in all elite maps before the kraken isles expansion.

Or people don't farm them as much because of chance for better loot in the new campaign.

Its cuz ppl don't farm them. Their drop rate remains the same, or close to the same (which is quite low). This is because of the two expansions after it. Pretty soon farmable pets in Kraken will have their pricings dropped too, probably.

I know wrathjaw is in Antee at the Lost Mage Mine.
Been farming there for weeks. No drop yet.

Try tower of Mardrom
I remember when Snaggletooth was 1k.. it was actually disappointing how low it dropped. Around 40k would be a good price for it.
