Quest: "A Thousand Snowballs"

Hey guys i recently picked up the quest "A Thousand Snowballs" I am just wondering how often do these drop or were do they drop because i havn't seen 1 drop yet. I'm fighting at lost expedition.

Yeah they drop from killing the little yetis in FN. Get the 1000 pelts quest a the same time. Both take forever so you may as well do them simultaneously.

Haven't given up per se, but with a massive total of 7 pelts and 3(!) snowballs, let's just say it's on the back-burner. ;)

You guys give up too easy. I finished both these quests with a level 30 mage ;)

Now, now--please re-read what I said--I haven't given up, but it's not like it's something I'm actively working on either. I did the 1024 bleeding tome one right after I got the silly quest, so I'm capable of stick-to-itivness, I'm just not currently that way inclined. :) Suffering too badly from a virulent case of, "Oooh! Shiny!!!" with the new content, I suppose. (wanders off, whistling tunelessly)

Yes these quests are just irritating and it probably makes more sense to leave them a while otherwise, with a quest log capacity of 3, they bung you up a bit. The 1k tomes Balefort one was annoying too. I don't mind a bit of grinding but these just take the p**s!

The reward gear is pretty useless if you don't complete when you're 30's. Can't sell, trade, or give it away.

I'm big on task completion so I did eventually finish snowball and pelt chasing. Decided to stash the gear for my alternate characters. Shouldn't be too difficult though, now that pots are availabe. Just sayin :)

Working on these a 2nd, 3rd and 4th time. Almost done w/ the 2nd. The 4th one is pretty new though. Might give up on that one if new quests come along w/ new campaign. Would recommend to everyone doing quests to do these ones last, so you have room for faster quests.
