So, I ask thee, how much is your thumb worth!? If anyone is a little confused, I am referring to the thumb up - add to this user's reputation function. Please note, this is not to be confused with the "Thanks" function.

I have done a test & it seems that my thumb is capable of giving a user 144 reputation points.

I think I have come to determine that post count does infact boost your reputation giving power. Why? I now have 228 reputation points received and still no reputation giving power.

This forums account is more useful than I thought, as it is my guinea pig for figuring out the reputation system completely.

On The Godlyness, I had 0 thanks and 0 reps, and then I repped myself, as proven in the first page of this thread. It gave me 144 reputation points when before I had 0.

My regular thanks are usually given by a bit lowered standards, but they aren't that common either.

You cannot save quotes as signatures anymore because back when developers used to joke around & yes, cuss, people would sig them on it. Now, when their hilarious/troll posts were quoted, it obviously wasn't the image they wanted to broadcast. I'm pretty sure that is why the main reason why they were removed.

Also, the same could be said when people quoted other forum members on statements that were considered inappropriate.

My assumption was that I had reached a threshold, akin to leveling up. Prior to me bumping Cobear he had 508 after, 555. I thought "550 rep received" might be a milestone of sorts, possibly mitigated by some other factor.
