Have done many boss fights... Ripmaws arcane ability is used to stun (knock) ... but it does not stun the bosses while slag being a mythic pet does...

Bosses can't be knocked down that's why Ripmaw's arcane ability doesn't affect them. Slag's arcane ability is to cause panic which also affects bosses (a kind of stun).
