Wow, don't you ever clear your friend requests? :eek: The most I've had is about 20 because i clear them pretty quickly, mostly just decline because random requests don't amuse me :(

Funny, I think she is collecting the friend requests. Anyone know if having a big friends list or being in a big guild increases your lag like it does in PL (or so the rumor goes)?

The reason why I stack em up is because I do check them by batch. Mostly I get these friend requests when I stand afk in game for long periods of hours. Majority are just from randoms and some low leveled players. I'll be reviewing them again to see the people I know and accept em right away :) The reason why I don't delete them is to track how many players are online within a span of a given time - weekly and monthly, I'm just curious as to how many players do I actually come across by.

I finally found the thread where Sam said it.


Recently we came across an issue with some un-capped lists: Friend's List, Ignore List, Guild Size, stuff like that. Right now, we don't cap the upper limit of how many friends you can have, or guild members you can have. In general, this works out pretty well, but, like a lot of things in life, there are those few edge cases. You know, the guy that sends friend requests to anyone he sees and has like 6,000 friends. Or, the silly developer (me in this case) who accepts any friend requests (cause I you all!) and winds up with even more friends.

This becomes a problem when the list size is soooo huge that when trying to access it (like open your Friend's List) it basically lags your game out. Even worse is the huge Guild List - trying to open it becomes a problem and using it is even worse.
