pure dex is fun, dual str dex is op dodge (only good against dex birds), skill points max everything except avian scream and meditation and put 1 in restore.

@Myst - Why you no put 1 point into avian. It still not unfreeze/unroot? FFA build?
I have the exact same setup as Myst with exception of 1 point out of thorn wall and 1 into avian.

Avian needs to be at rank 4 for it to free you from roots/freeze. I've tried it, I don't use it enough to invest 4 skill points into it.

You are correct. I completely forgot about that since my main pvp bird is now 71.

A strongman bird can beat any class. Considering they all are level 56. But you will probably get rushed just for being a nub str bird lol

You can never really tell. Strongman birds just dodge. Dodge, dodge, dodge. If they don't dodge, they dead.

Im pretty sure avian scream can also free you from roots/ice/stuns at 3 and 4, but there is a chance that it fails (roughly 20%). At 5 its guaranteed to free you.
If you kite well I'd say go for it. You could take the points off shattering scream. Besides that I agree with Mysts build.

That's what I've always done, but now I may experiment with a build that includes higher shattering scream and less avian scream. I have a feeling that it may help more for bears. :p

I have zero avian scream and maxed shattering on my 55 bird actually, cause Im using a recurve set and dont kite as hardcore as I would with an xbow bird. Its so satisfying to drop a team of three with one cruel blast in FFA. :D
On my other twink birdies Im using xbows and 5 avian cause getting frozen screwes up my kiting and makes me rage..
And for a ctf build I would say its a must cause getting out of a hellscream/frostbite quickly can make a huge difference (3-4 sec immobilisation is a good 12m or more lost)
