Planetside 2 is like an MMOFPS that is free to play, but never pay to win. Consistent battles over three continents with thousands of players online.
That is the kind of MMO that I'm going to be playing soon enough.

Edit: This one isn't browser based and has to be downloaded onto all computers if you want to continue your account on another computer (you can log into your account on another PC) , but it is just a really good game if you want to check it out.
