fastest ways to begin with is crates and elite gold chests, the more you have the bigger the items the bigger the profits/loses

always be cautious and dont buy impulsively.

How am I suppose to look for deals when I have no gold?

Long story short: money laundering, tax evasion, crates robbery, begging at pier, finally glacian as grandma's inheritance

i didnt buy anything until i was lvl 21 :) - mostly from quests and killing when i was a low level lol
and then i got lucky with malison drops like twice in one day, and so on, started doing elites thats how
- just happen to get lucky with drops most the time

- and theres always plats u can buy lol

What lvl do you have to be to do Jarl?

Just like Ink said, you dont NEED, to buy anything until your 20s. You will do just fine with any build and any character. In fact the best way to make money is to not SPEND money. Do your daily story quests without fail. Buy and sell colton. Thats a failsafe 150k to 200k money maker (in about 50 days). If you get a lucky drop here and there, sell it, dont use it. Horde money till you are in a position to buy low and sell high. As long as you can get through maps you dont need to buy upgrade gear. Without lucky drops, making money in the beginning is slow. Just accept that. It gets much easier when you are hivher lvl and have a good base of gold to work with.

And all it takes is one lucky drop to change your whole gaming experience. But you have to diversify your efforts with low, medium, and high risk ventures. Focusing only on high risk will only lead to frustration.
