So I've been wondering how many people are real life friends with game devs/moderators and if they are being favored. I know so many people whom have used tons plat on crates and got nothing After using at least 10k plat. Its funny how some people are to good/rich/cool to be ur friend and just call u noob. Lmfao. IMO I feel there Is favoritism like certain ACCTS getting higher luck increase. Its not equal luck for everyone and its obvious.Even when the luck was increased in the update still get horrible items. Worse items than without
the BETTER chance of looting mythic or arcane update. Remember constructive critism


If anyone has anything to prove me wrong I'd love to see. I'm not say in that I'm not wrong but. Its IMO constructive criticism. To consider even better loot drops

More likely what happens is your dev friend tips you off that new update that has double chances of mythic and then you stock up on crates before they go up and you make a ton of gold. Just like insider trading.

As u will see in Al money IS power. I know some Richie riches whom I've messaged about buying rare And get no responses till I have something they want.Also it dies make u cool cause if our broke nobody wants to be or friend I know tons who can say its true. I add random and do my best to give gear around their lvl if they needing it I've also given lots gold away.why? Cause I believe in carma. And finally if you got tons of gold you can afford the best armor and equip which definitely helps. There is only one rich unselfish player whom is the most generous and won't bad mouth you... my only true friend in this game and forums.

It's hard to not be dismissive about this. There is no way to prove or disprove it. So why even bother? You never mentioned what was constructive in your op.

Furthermore, there are a lot of reasons people, myself included, don't accept all incoming friend requests. If I don't know you and I've never run with you, chances are I'm not going to bother accepting your friend request. Contrary to your belief, money is not power in this game. I have a lot of friends that are rich and a lot not so rich. And we still all enjoy playing together. You just need to find the right people. It takes time.

My main concern is devs or moderators giving away arcane and mythic stuff cause they don't need it. I have a good feeling they aren't selling those items. Why? Cause devs and moderators don't need gold they have access to all gear and gold. So probably just give away.

QFT (well all but the honey part :p). Even if there is favoritism, it's not like you can do anything about it. I'd say more likely, as with any game, there are those that can be in game all the time and those that can't. I'd say that is a bigger factor.

It's been discussed on a few occasions on the forums. Check the search feature. There hasn't really been any definitive information on the process or what will be required.

I just laugh every time someone says "I opened xx number of crates and didn't get anything good, so....." and then they accuse STS of being unfair, or greedy, or something like that. It's random!!! STS does not decide it. Every time you open a crate, the app uses a random generator based on predetermined odds to decide what you get. It happens at the exact moment you open the crate, not in advance, not when you take possession of the crate. That is how you can save a crate that you looted last season, and now when you open it you get gear from this season.

The odds for mythic are very rare. And for arcane they are so rare that it doesn't really matter how much you spend, there is a good chance you will never get one. Yes, even if you spend $1,000 and buy tens of thousands of plat, you most likely won't get an arcane item. And if you spend a thousand plat you most likely won't get a mythic item. They are very rare.

Contrary to popular belief around here, if arcane and mythic items were not as rare, then this game would be much more heavily favored towards plat users. Because it would mean that anyone who spent a ton of plat would have these items. But instead, there are no guarantees. Plat does not buy you success in this game. It gives you better odds, but it's still a gamble.

Increasing the odds for mythic and arcane items would be equivalent to essentially selling these items for a fixed amount of plat. What if STS announced that arcane items can be purchased for 5000 plat and mythic items for 2000 plat. Then what would happen? I'm sure the non-plat spenders would complain like there is no tomorrow. The problem with crates is they say you get a legendary item but what comes out is worse then any epic. So what makes these items legendary? Like any of these amulets of riposte. No one wants them and you wasted 15 plat which is like wasting 15,000 gold. Yes you can say well not everything that comes out of a crate is good, but then you know, that a pink is just a color and legendary can be anything. So I might as well get out a marker and color my screen with pink, orange and red and call my stuff legendary, mythic and arcane. I don't gamble on chests and crates so it doesn't bother me people are spending so much money. All these people are doing is driving down prices on anything that comes out of these crates and driving up prices on crates. Because there is not enough demand for most of these items which is why they sell for next to nothing. But they get suckered in by double the chance, but two times zero is still zero. So I am not surprised people are upset.

Also, I really don't think people care about the whole legendary thing from crates. Why? Because if the ripost pendants were replaced with Bonechill bows, those would be worthless too. i admit Its pure luck, but the only problem is some players are not satisfied hearing the word rare, very rare, or whatsoever..they want to see numbers being shown so they can calculate the odds and convert it to winning.

and by the way those who doesn't know what luck means, keep this is mind...
