I’ve always wanted to win the rewards from these leaderboards, but I’ve never actually tried.

I looked at the results from previous seasons, and the times on each map are insane. I also noticed that it’s always or almost always the same group of people setting records on these maps. Why is always the same people taking these records.

The game feels pretty monotonous right now, so I think it would be nice to try something new to focus on.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get started? Well, some of those bosses are tricky, so here some knowledge to counter them.

1. w5 Colossus:
-Boss remains dormant until he is provoked.
-Each time his HP lowers to a certain threshold he gains invulnerability(visual red shield) and replenishes HP upon shield cancel.
-Before shield cancelling can launch redzone circle attack, which can stun for up to 5 seconds
-Launches rocks in random directions(redzone line attack) which deals huge damage and can stun for up to 5 seconds
-After all shields are gone he gets it last time, gains significant bonus to his movement speed and rushes in random directions, jumping on ground, dealing huge AoE damage and creating harrowcite pools.
Feature: until boss is provoked and 1 second after he is, his shields are turned off. You can kill him in one shot, bypassing his shields. Can also be killed with harrowcite flask placement, since while he is not provoked, his shield won't turn on.

2. w10 Karthis:
-After engaging boss stands still for few seconds, not attacking
-Can launch series of rapid attacks, which will chain stun the target
-Pulls enemies towards dealing AoE damage if party didn't manage to kill him fast
-Gains invulnerability at the same time the harrow crystal appears in random spot, if party didn't manage to kill him in time. To dispel invulnerability you should break the crystal, while the boss is within its radius
-Upon harrow crystal spawn, launches huge AoE attack, covering all map and insta killing anyone. At this time, also creates defensive sphere, where players can hide to avoid being insta-killed
Feature: flask deals enough damage to kill boss without any extra hits or skills

3. w15 Haask:
-Can move on his own accord, because of nature of his attacks
-Red zone attacks inflict poison on the targets. Redzone line attack also deals huge amount damage and can instakill
-After boss HP becomes lower than 50%, proceeds to spawn harrowcite crystals around, while receiving invulnerability shield
-Creates many harrowcite crystals. Those crystals do not deal any damage, but inflict poison on target, as also can disable players ability to move for few seconds.
Feature: boss can't immediately spawn harrowcite crystals, when he is already busy preparing any of his redzone attacks.

4. w20 Vylah
-Two phased boss, where the second being most hard and annoying one
-Has two types of attacks while targetable: red-zone half circle attack and solar beam
-After remaining boss HP is 30% or lower, becomes invulnerable, pushes each nearby player away with the sand wave and begins to regenerate her HP until fully recovered, jumps away afterwards, beginning her 2nd phase
-Second phase consists of a cycle: timed redzone circle attacks marks her jump point; after jumping on the spot becomes non-targetable(skills, attacks don't affect her. Has visual shield, while non-target); makes 1-2 attacks (red-zone half circle attack/solar beam, in case of two attacks in a row it can be any combination of her attacks from first phase); jumps away, repeating the cycle
-Timed redzone circle attacks can push away and stun its targets
Feature: To kill her when the boss does only 1 single attack after the jump you need burst damage(huge damage in short time span). if you don't have burst damage(which is essential in dealing with second phase), you can wait for it to make 2 attacks after the jump(she usually starts with solar beam, when she is going to make two attacks in a row). If you'd wait for solar beam to be her first attack, you would likely have a higher chance to kill her, since she wouldn't jump off immediately.

5. w25(>+5) Harrowcite Mutant:
-Hardest from all EDG bosses, because of his stance and durability(W30 boss has approximately 300b HP)
-Can do both melee and ranged attacks
-Spins with blades dealing AoE damage to nearby targets
-Has shield stance(with his shield in front of him) receiving slight damage reduction
-Has a damage threshold: accumulates damage received over certain amount of time, then going into defensive stance
-While being in defensive stance, boss kneels, extending the arm with the shield forward, and creating dark pool beneath him, as also receiving damage reduction
-All accumulated damage the boss received before and during the stance spawns mobs nearby. Quantity and spawn rate depends on the amount of recevied damage
-After the defensive stance is over, boss kills all the mobs with red lightning, healing himself in depends on the amount of accumulated damage before and during the defensive stance
-If HP of the boss is lower than 50%, he can go into defensive state regardless of fact if any damage in near 5 seconds is accumulated
-His constant accumulation span is around 5 seconds; damage threshold lowers the less HP boss has
Feature: Best thing to do is to attack the boss with full party at once, once everyone is ready.
