Legends tell of the foolish King Grod Ketretus, who reigned over the once-wealthy Hiberian Province, which fell into poverty as he funneled its resources into his coffers. The king commissioned the elaborate Hiberian Labyrinth to protect these riches, guarded by the mighty minotaur Bjorras, hoping to cheat certain death and return one day to enjoy his riches.

Hiberia had once been relegated to the pages of myth and legend... but no longer.

Highlights

+ This is an Energy Event
+ There are Overall and Class leaderboards. Prizes for Class Leaderboards only.
+ Unique reward added for #1 player! Rewards for each class are Top 1, Top 10, and Top 25.
+ Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum Tier Rewards
+ Boss (and chest) can drop Legendary, Mythic, and Arcane Loot - including Level 86 Arcanes!
+ Event runs from September 24th to October 8th (with a 3-day cooldown)

How to Play

Visit the traveling scholar Vivyen in Windmoore to learn about her connection to King Grod Ketretus' story, and begin a quest for adventure in his lore labyrinth. Travel through the energy portal to explore the labyrinth, tap into some of the King's riches, earn leaderboard points, and even take on the terrifying minotaur Bjorras himself. Beware of the King's tricky traps!

A Massive Maze

The Hiberian Labyrinth is a massive maze of twisting, turning hallways meant to confuse and distract you!
Here are a few tips to keep you from getting hopelessly lost:

Minimap

Use your minimap to navigate! Zoom out all the way (minimap zoom and opacity can be found in your Options menu).
Let the minimap show you where you've been and where you still need to venture.

Kill Counter

Before you can face Golden Bjorras, you must kill all the monsters in the Labyrinth. You will see a message at the top of your screen indicating "Kill All Enemies!"
When there are 50 (or fewer) enemies on screen, this message changes to indicate the number of monsters left:

When all monsters are killed, the message changes again to say "Kill Bjorras!"

Guide Arrows

When all enemies are defeated and Bjorras can be accessed, you will see green 'guide' arrows on the floor at hallway intersections:

Follow these arrows to the final boss!

Camera

While in the Hiberian Labyrinth, you can zoom, turn, and pitch your camera angle!

Swipe the screen to adjust the camera position. It's a great way to help you navigate.

Labyrinth Traps

All of King Ketretus' traps are engineered to inflict heavy damage.
Watch for the trap's warning indicators and stay away/out of the way before it activates.
Almost all of the Labyrinth traps will kill you if you are not careful!

Note: The Scholar's Gear Farming elixir reduces damage taken from Labyrinth traps.

The Spikes

Designed to cleave treasure-laden thieves in half!

Watch for the warning indicator on the dungeon floor. Don't be on top of these blades when they suddenly slice upwards!
Spikes are deadly any time they are visible. Don't cross while extended, or you will take heavy damage!
REVIVING after being killed by a Spike Trap will place you outside of the danger zone.

The Ballista

Engineered to pierce gold-grabbing raiders with a fiery arrow!

A warning indicator appears on the ground beneath the ballista, indicating where it will fire its deadly projectile.
Projectiles can be avoided when they are in flight.

The Grinder

Built to cut thieves below the knees!

Grinder blades move back and forth along a fixed track. They have no warning indicator.
Keep your eyes peeled, and you can sidestep grinder blades to avoid damage.

The Grenade

Engineered to blast maze raiders to pieces!

Grenades indicate a line along which they will be fired. After they hit the ground, grenades explode, causing damage, knockback, and stun!
Watch where the grenade lands and avoid the area.

The Flame

Designed to incinerate adventurers to ash!

A warning indicator will appear before the flames ignite.
Flames are deadly any time they are visible. Don't cross into the flames, or you will take heavy damage!
REVIVING after being killed by a Flame Trap will place you outside the danger zone.

The Ghost of King Ketretus

Condemned to roam the halls of his Labyrinth...

The dead King Ketretus is surrounded by a "terror aura" that will make you panic!
He cannot be damaged, killed, taunted, or otherwise affected by your skills... so keep your distance.
Avoid being caught in his wake — especially if you are near other deadly Labyrinth traps.

Boss Loot

The minotaur boss Golden Bjorras sits on his own hoard and has a chance to drop Level 16, 26, 46, 56, 66, 71, 76, 81, and 86 (Blood Star) Arcanes, as well as Level 81 and 86 (Star Beast) Mythics!

New Veilblade Assassin Weapons!

Attacks hit up to 5 targets and grant a Momentum Buff, increasing Critical Damage, Haste, Damage, and Movement Speed by 3% per stack, up to 10 stacks.

Once you hit 10 stacks, your character is struck by a lightning bolt.

Charged attacks create a damaging Gravity Well aura at the target's location. If you have 10 stacks of Momentum when using a charged attack, all stacks are consumed to deal massive damage and grant 60% Critical Damage, Haste, Damage, and Movement Speed for 5 seconds.

This is a modified version of Grohl with a significantly larger health pool.

While standing still, you gain a stacking buff every 2 seconds that increases Damage by 25% per stack, up to 5 stacks.

Developer Notes:

The basic attacks on this new weapon set deal significantly more damage than those of previous weapons, while the weapon procs deal less damage. In the past, a larger portion of a weapon's total damage came from its procs rather than its basic attacks. Because weapon previews primarily compare basic attack damage, this new set will display a significant increase in DPS when compared to previous weapons. However, when accounting for both basic attacks and procs, the overall damage output of this new set is comparable to the previous Veilblade weapon set.
