There’s a few different topics I want to discuss.

1. Bear needs a buff at endgame, not a str set buff, it genuinely needs an armor or health buff, bears die quicker than birds in the current meta and are basically unplayable. This sucks for people that spent 10+ years playing bear class. Im a mage main, but in PvP I notice it’s 95% mages or birds only, this equates to a dull and repetitive PvP experience. I think buffing bear would bring back a good amount of players and also make PvP feel a lot more dynamic and fun for everyone.

2. The cost of entry for 115 pvp is too high, granted for skilled and experienced players an uncrafted set CAN work, but it is still very difficult to overcome the stat differences between crafted and uncrafted. I think this detours a lot of players that maybe haven’t spent a lot of time pvping from ever even trying it. Crafted sets as it sits cost around 700m, this inadvertently causes PvP to be only accessible to the rich players of the game. I notice that currently 115 PvP is the same 15-20 players and hardly see anyone new join a game. In my opinion as someone that owns a crafted set. I don’t think there should be a stat difference in pvp. This will allow almost all players to have a fair chance in pvp instead of never being able to step foot in arena.

3. I also wanted to mention bringing back honor arena, but with a bit of a twist if possible. I always hear (and agree with) players that talk about how good the old caps were, particularly 56,66,71,76 etc. so maybe it’s possible to release honor sets and honor maps for each of these old level caps, the sets will have the same exact stats as the original sets when those caps were active. But would be playable at 115. For example, a level 115 player can put on a L76 honor set and host a specific L76 honor arena where only other L76 honor sets can join. I also encourage honor CTF maps. This would bring back a lot of OG players that want that nostalgic feel from their favorite cap.

4. With the return of honor or maybe the balancing of bear class, I think it would be awesome to start doing some PvP events. I remember a few of these happening a long time ago but haven’t had anything since. This would encourage more players to jump into arena or CTF and who knows, maybe they discover they like PvP after all but have never tried it before because of the imbalances and set differences. I’ve always only played this game for its PvP, but right now it’s the same 20 players repetitively. I’m hoping something can be done that can somewhat revive the PvP content side of the game. I strongly believe if previous caps stats were added to honor sets that would help do the trick.

Not sure if this is a place to put this thread but I’m looking for a response from any active developer on this question. I remember asking Futumsh if he was able to buff the Elite Sea Blaster since it had a lower damage amount compared to its mirror item, the Phantom Pirate’s Crossbone. The response given was no, mostly being that the ESB was an old campaign item. My question is does this extend towards Item packs and plat based items in the store? Say I buy a L40 Enchantress 4Pack for 100p. The stats on the items given are bad and will serve no use in neither PvP or PvE. Compared to the Warrior 4Pack series, which are amongst the best items in the game and are constantly bought and sought after, the Enchantress packs are hardly ever bought. Nearly all of the items that exist in the plat store have seen next to 0 purchases in the 14+ years of them being here.

If better stats are provided are we able to see any update towards them? These are old items after all but with the current gear shortage and the unlikelihood of newer content being made I figure we could make some use out of them.

Raising minimum Hit rate

TLDR: Raise the minimum hit rate from 70 to 80. Current hit rate is too outdated considering the fact that hit gained from items was nerfed by 50% in 2016-2017. Also opening dialogues for buffs towards hit debuffs Blinding Shot, Hell Scream, Weakness, and Posion Dart.

As per forums and online discourse forums, this is a highly supported patch that I’ve seen commented on over the years. Ever since the 2016-2017 Hit % Nerf the game has had a pretty significant hit issue where you are able to miss multiple skills and auto attacks despite being in the low to mid 90s percentile. In places like 12-27 the hit rate can range anywhere between 84 to 95 on the highest end and most fights are won by whoever lands the more skills and autos. You’ll have 2 full dex bears with the exact same hit rate but 1 guy misses 7 of his total 15 attacks while the other misses 2. At levels like 35 where everyone has close to 95 hit you’ll have a mage constantly miss important fight winning skills like Drain despite not having a single debuff actively penalizing you.

Raising the minimum hit from 70 to 80 will clear up a lot of this mess, but we will also need to update the hit debuffs on Hell Scream, Blind, Weakness, and Poison Needle to make sure debuffs do not become a pointless metric that exists in the game. It’s already bad enough that outside of Holy Tempest the stackable hit debuffs such as Lightning Strike and Hell Scream, seems to be only debuffs that are actively worth having. Blind has been a useless skill ever since 2016 and it has made Bird by far the worst class in the game.

My suggestion: add an option to ignore/hide auras (ideal) or simply disable all auras in PvP.

I think we can all agree auras are a fantastic addition to the game, but they've become a real nuisance in pvp. Some auras almost add a competitive advantage with how bright and distracting they are. For example, the Glacial Abyss aura makes it harder to see when a mage uses mana shield.
I believe the option to hide auras in pvp would be very well received by the community.
