No one carries you but you still want to make a living? You don't like rely on the others or just simply interested, what is other ways to earn? Well, farm isn't pivoting around circling of Dune 1-1, and there is always an opportunity to get what you need, even if you just max leveled newb without any endgame toys.
Before diving into somewhat efficient ways to earn, lets mention few things:
Gear networth - amount of approximate total price of your gear, required to act at least somewhat efficiently.
Ghost Party - by typing invitation command makes game to think that you're already in a party, letting you play solo whenever you want. Command consists of "/pi" and random letters. For instance: "/pi qweqw". To leave Ghost Party type "/pl".
Here I brought each actual known way to get gold F2P in Arcane Legends, including the ways, where you don't need to rely on the others, with different variety.

0. Elite Tindirin for scales and chests: slowest of all ways, much legwork. Just clear elite locations and drop scales. Once you got enough, you should be able to afford Dragonite Bar and sell it. Elite Golden Dragonscale Chest can be looted here too: Arcane Shard is lootable from it, that's why they still can be sold.

1. Elite Shuyal/Kraken Isles/Nordr: drops Elite Golden Puzzlebox II, Elite Golden Pirate Chest II and Elite Golden Warchest III respectively. These chests have very rare loot, consists of one single old and prestige arcane weapon of each class, which can be used to craft their vanity version.
-While running use luck giving pet, elixirs and gear, so that will help you reroll lesser quality chest to higher one.
-You can craft higher quality chests from lesser quality chests in the crafting station.
-Besides 91 lv requires around 200k gear networth to run it, so it the most accessible option to begin with.
-Inconsistent drops

2. Timekeepers Crypt jewel farm: this location has always threshold level as you, making the dozens of mob crowds perfect targets to farm jewels.
-Use Fury+Mind+Finesse jewel elixirs. NO other jewel elixirs besides these three at once
-Requires from 2m to 12m of gear networth to farm fast enough
-Average drop per 1 elixir around 100 cracked jewels+4 standard jewels.
-When enough mobs are cleared you can remap to reset location, or use party zone unlock command to reset it right away: "/pzu".
-Not high profit, but very consistent. You can precisely calculate how much you'd got.

3. Elite Zodias chests and elixirs farm: Electrum chests, jewel elixirs, fish oil elixirs are here. Just circle 1st and 2nd elite location.
-Electrum chests can drop from any enemies
-Jewel elixirs drop mainly from minibosses
-Fish oil elixirs can drop from bosses
-Requires from 6m to 15m gear networth to run it properly.
-The most consistent thing is Electrum chests: average 2 chests from 1 run.

4. Elite Rahabkor/Elite Hedourah/Elite Indigo: from each location you can get somewhat of gold and chance to loot chests (Electrum from Zodias, Tektite from Elder Woods)
-Least of required gear networth for efficiency is 50m total (considering you're already own gl set)
-fish oil elixirs and Electrum chests can be looted from Elite Rahabkor
-Besides Tektite chests Elder Woods bosses can drop furniture

5. Dune 1-1: most straightforward way to farm.
-Requires multiple sets to run
-Minibosses appear seldom in comparison to more deeper floors
-Significantly higher gold drops in comparison with every other location below

6. Dune 1-6: circling deeper floors longer and harder than first one, but there are few reasons, why is that can be good.
-Requires multiple sets to run
-Longer, deeper levels leaves us with more minibosses, more chances to seek materials to sell
-Bosses from 3rd floor can drop Dunestride armor, from 4th Dunestride artifact, from 5th Dunestride amulet, from 6th Dunestride weapon

7. Elite Dune Gauntlet: hardest from permanent ways of farm, but also the most profitable.
-Requires multiple sets to run
-More gold drops from bosses, gold drops from minibosses
-Plenty of miniboss waves, ergo more chances to loot materials
-Chance to loot Dunestride weapons
-Fast paced runs (approximately 8 minutes till wave of 20)

Gear sets required to comfortably and effectively farm locations from 4th point to the 7 are enlisted here: All dmg gear sets for all player groups 2026

Mentioned farm ways above are permanent (24/7 accessible) and actual (24/7 profitable).
Points mentioned below are experimental: not as effective/consistent/happen to be seasonal.

1. Events: some events are profitable and can be played by majority of players, and some are kind of niche, for certain groups of people with appropriate gear. Effectiveness of farm on events has different variety, and we can't name which one will be better and which one will be worse next time.

2. Boss Hunt: mostly required seasonally, when players ran new toons and need APs to climb higher in top, but can also be implemented across year, when someone wants to get the bosses they never actually killed. Majority of the bosses from bounty list (located in Travelers Outpost, book pedestal near Tombs) can be hunted down without strong gear. All you need to do is to find a group of people who wants specific boss and name your price.

3. Trading: quite simple idea - buy cheaper and sell higher, but there's complexity in that simplicity. Everyone has their own tactic regarding such thing, and it is up to you if you want to find one of your own. Just make sure you're ready to experience loses in the beginning to get some experience.

?. Begging: if you think that everyone is a charity worker and will be tremendously pleased by giving out anything to you, then it's you call. Of course, no people in sane mind will respond to a beggars message, knowing that these players CAN earn by themselves, but they just don't want to. Still, there's chance you'll stumble upon some giveaway, but if you resort to begging in the first place, not like you will know how to utilize what is given to you.

For info regarding upcoming events you can check previous event posts, to get an idea of what it will be, and same goes for the Boss Hunt. All information of wanted bosses are either in the game in APs description/hint, or in the forum. For example here's guide for the Twisted Ten Bosses.

I started playing again a couple of months ago after a long break, and there are two things I’ve been wondering about.

I missed out on the Storm weapons, which seem incredibly strong, especially when combined with the right Veil gear. Since the release of the Storm weapons, we’ve already gotten new Mythic Veil weapons, and I assume we’ll probably see another round of Veil weapons at some point during the Cursed Dunes expansion.

1. Competing on the leaderboard without Storm weapons

I’ve tried running LB with a full Veil setup, and it seems pretty doable. However, I still feel like players with Storm weapons have a noticeable advantage.

So, I’m curious what the community thinks. I’m considering seriously competing for the leaderboard in one of the upcoming events.

Do you think it’s realistic to compete for LB without Storm weapons, or is the difference simply too big when you’re competing against equally geared/skilled players who do have them?

2. Chances of new Arcane weapons

Based on previous years and how STS usually handles gear progression, how likely do you think it is that we’ll see a new generation of Arcane weapons before Halloween or Winter?

I’m mainly trying to decide whether it makes sense to invest heavily into my current setup for LB, or wait and see what new gear gets released.

1. I'd like to introduce myself first. I've been playing this game for 10 years on and off. I joined when Nordr was the newest expansion, i remember waiting in front of Kraag gates for the server announcement that the new expansion is added and we could go through the door :D.
And i believe there there are a number of people who remember these times. When everything was more simpler, no OP awakes, no gold loot, when events were an exclusive source of gold. When legendary items actually meant something and Arcane/Mythic were extremely rare and had value. When brackenridge on elite was hard to clear, farming Malison egg. Legendary pets being good, farming locked crates with Lepre from Jarl and the Mines.
Those days...
While I don't want to criticize the way modern Arcane legends is, as some people enjoy it and want to keep their characters progress, i believe many people have also quit the game from those changes.

2. What i suggest:
I see a lot of video games getting their old versions remastered, resold, "classic" versions ETC.
Dear Arcane Legends team, would you ever consider adding a separate server or perhaps entirely different game client where we could get to experience Arcane Legends as it was back then, from its first ever expansion and have it progress to the older expansions.
I can't say certain numbers, but I believe a lot of old players could possibly return and I am positive current players would give it a shot too.
