The price of this aura in terms of gold is triple the price of other 1.8k plat Aura on Day 1.

A workaround for this would be for them to work on gauntlet weapon vanities.
I've suggested them before , example of herculean gauntlets/ fists that are symmetrical and will cover the exposed hands...

I pvp every day with aegis and sword. From what i see aegis doesnt one hit but does take a significant amount of health from rogues. Most wars just ignore the proc. I see a simple solution...... ...
