Zed I'd keep your sens the same tbh, I used to change my sens to play with bf4 - 1.2k and csgo - 400dpi and it threw my aim off despite it feeling nicer. I'd stay on 1200 if I was you.

Most of the time people get "hacked" it's normally them mistyping their password or clicking the 'Forgot password' button, try checking your email. I highly doubt there are people that play this game...
