Buying pets from stable

I was looking to buy for Talon for my gf as its our anniversary tmr!
She really likes talon!

SO i was wondering if i could buy talon from the stable, for 90 plat, but will this come in egg from? so i can send it to her, or will it be in my stable already??

Talon is currently sold at CS, if you have to gold to spare. or you can purchase iTunes gift card (i've read this here), then she can buy it at stable.
