You'll see a large number of angry players if STS showed any favoritism to the people who began playing when the game came out by giving them gifts, because those gifts will be something they will never get. That's why basing it off of seasons will not work. I'd say that after a certain age of an account, players should get special loyalty gifts (like maybe after 6 months or a year). But definately not by seasons like postulate said.
Doesn't matter to me whatever is implemented, I'll benefit from both! :p
