Pet Option Idea

I have noticed quite a few people wanting pets that are upgradable. I do not know if I agree with this entirely, but I still think it may make a great impact on the game.

Enchantment Option:
What if the pets could add a little damage based off enchants. The only draw back to this option I can see is the one where people hate enchantments already.

• In PVP, only the damage or other stats from enchantments could apply.
• In PVE, the enchantment damage or other stats plus their normal damage or whatever bonuses the pet may have apply.

Gear Option:
Make it where certain aspects of the pet can be geared. Such as armors, helms, and/or even abilities.

Please express your opinions on this.

Totally agree! Enchantments option on pets will bring something new for pve and pvp.

With enchantments on pets, everyone will have options to try different builds in pvp.

And also, we can upgrade our pets for better stats which means faster runs in pve map.

More enchants in PvP.. In my personal opinion no more stats should apply in PvP due to the fact that enchants are already annoying PvP wise.

Well maybe better to leave it to just PVE.

The thing about this is we dont need more "pay to win" in our pvp, but i have a counter idea. Make the stats only work in PVE so basically GL% enchants are desired. Or some additional armor for leveling a character. Ive always liked how in arcane your pet fights with you. Wish we could have something like that but it would change the game to much. Pets in PL have always been for looks and adding even a small amount of usefulness would be nice.

I don't like any enchants in my pvp, and adding even more of them is just a bad idea.

Pets adding 2.5k health and damage along with 25% reroll and gold loot is good enough for me when it comes to pve

I love your passion for the game.

Just imagine if our pets on game where just as effective as AL pets? it would definitely change the game.

Any additional changes to gear to make it stronger with bonuses are pleasurable in PvE. Makes farming easy, some can argue too easy and there is no more challenge to farming, one hit mobs is like a hot knife through butter.

And we all know the drastic impact any additional bonuses have on PvP.

I do love the idea of our little critters moving around and damaging mobs.

Well I see people don't like the enchanting option, but what about the gearing option? Or as Sunny started to bring up, the ability or damage option on their own like in AL?

I’d honestly rather have stat pets that can be combined with set pets so they have stats but also finish a vanity set (i.e. pfeiffer and smoke)

I like the ability/damage style the pets have in AL, honestly it is one of the few features AL has that PL doesnt that i actually enjoy. I feel that it would be an amazing feature to see pets like Tinsel shoot fireballs at your enemies, or have Angus head-but people, or even have Gingerbread Boy break off his arm and beat a skeleton with it...okay maybe not that.
But it would be an amazing feature to see brought to PL.

As for enchanting, im personally not really a fan of enchanting anyways but it would actually be interesting to see an enchanting system done for pets, or as Buchmeister said more set completing pets.
