I would really like to hold a talon and a STR shield at the same time and can not find a guide on forums for this. I would greatly appreciate someone helping me accomplish this, or post the address of the guide :)

thats easy! for low level gear...
if you were level 56 mage for example do dual spec stats put on a custom or fortified crown or if you are 55 you will need to use low level stuff like level 45
yep! You either gotta spec or build it up from the start. Check out Ellys dual spec guide. I believe somebody saw somebody with a mm wand and a ff shield. I think you could go duel spec with a little extra dex and boost a little using a crown or something to use the talon you want and boost using armor boosts to get to use a 51 shield. Idk if thats even possible but its worth a try. Check out ellys guide tho it prob will help more than i ever could lol :)Quote:

At 56, I was able to do 2-2/3-1 Rift/Void gear, but I think it might be possible with 51 BS gear, not sure though.
if you need some extra strength and youre a mage use your buffs then you can put on like something
Last I checked, they removed that. You can't rely on the stats from buffs anymore when equipping gear.Quote:

Well I was planning using Level 51 Royal Sewer Gemstone Plate and Helm with Level 51 Bellow's Gemstone Shield. And the talon is either Talon of Death or Laser Talon of the Void.
127 str, 152 dex, 1 int. For a level 55
Osiris - Osiris - Osiris - Rift (162 str, 152 dex now)
Royal - Osiris - Royal - Bellows (169 str, 152 dex now)
Royal - Horus - Royal - Bellows (161 str, 160 dex right now)
Royal - Void/hate - Royal - Bellows (161 str, 163/164 dex right now)
Putting a henchman's/raid talon in there instead of a void/hate will have less base damage, but more skill damage. Worth it, IMO.
At level 56 on my Bird I can equip:
Level 55 Str Helm
Level 55 Str Plate
Level 55 Str Shield
Level 50 - Talon (Death Talon seems to be best). *I was also able to equip a level 51 RR Talon or Henchman Talon with this build*
The secret to having enough points, you have to be level 56, and you need to use atleast one item that is fortified (since it gives 14 Str instead of 12)
I have seen Other players use wand and Dex wing or wand and Str Shield at level 55. It confuses me.
One piece has to be 51 gear (Pink). Any piece. It's your choice. Hope that helps.
Use shadow cave gear to boost the 4 extra points that you need in the desired stat.
