Dex -- what's the point now?

Ok, so I was just taking a look at my pure dex bird. And he has 14 dodge in full void +bonus. So all that dodge is from equipment. So if dex no longer adds to dodge, what's the use in it besides being able to wear dex items? I really don't understand why this was changed. Birds are squishy, they don't have good defense. Dodge is what keeps them alive. And it just makes sense that dex would make you faster and therefore able to dodge attacks.
I just don't get it. People complained about birds being too powerful so now they get nothing? Where's the balance in that? And how do we improve dodge now? My bear doesn't have that much either, and he's mostly str with some dex.

Thought I'd try my bird out in Pvp, since I never really played Pvp before. And he died so fast.

agree with you, i think that now the game is totally unbalance. uu i really like this game, i can´t see how the game is become to be bad on some asspect only.
I have a strength bear lv 50 with full rift and only have 137 of armor, what is the point now?

I seem to disagree after the update I die less can solo yellows and takeout OL with tank pot with a decent team all without getting killed.

I just said I'm wearing full void with bonus.
And I haven't tested it out yet on the mobs -- yes, they're easier all around now. But that has nothing to do with the fact that dex does not affect dodge anymore. Why is this? I still want to know what the point of dex is, other than equipment. I don't think the three stats are balanced out right now.

The bird could do with a bit more dodge but thats all mages are balanced perfectly and beArs need a bit more armour then bang perfect

They're still pretty good in PvP. As a mage I can't even get to a bird if we go head on, only advantage I can get is if I can time spells perfectly by the second, or have the element of surprise. I've also seen birds solo as well as mages now, so I don't think dodge is that big of an issue, but they could use maybe a bit more.

Maybe there will be gear with next campaign that helps a bit with dodge.

Archers are still the best at pvp..

Although our armor have been decreased, so do those mobs'~And their attachk. So in the end we have stronger survival ability. And don't live on dogde because I think the hit% of boss is not 100% or upper. BTW, archers are not born to tank.

Not the point. Whether the bosses are weakened or not (I know this -- I'm not thrilled about the bosses being neutered -- too easy now.). My point is why is dex not related to dodge anymore. Simple. Not talking about bosses or anything else. I just don't see why birds got their dodge taken away *completely* not just Nerfed. Dex does absolutely nothing to dodge now. That is my point.

From this you can clearly see that intel is still the worst stat, but now, strength and dex are fairly close. I'd still say dex is better because of the huge damage difference but it's closer than it was before.

What are you basing this off of? Ie. What are the numbers? How much does each stat contribute? Has anyone done the math yet?

Just tested it myself.
All points in str makes armor 14 and dodge 7
All points in dex makes Armor 7 and dodge 4
All points in int gave only 1 armor and 2 dodge

So why did bears get the upper hand on both dodge and armor? Birds should be faster. It makes sense. Especially since evade is their only defense skill. Bears have both iron blood and evade and mages have mana shield and the brief BOV iron blood.
I have all three classes, so I'm not saying birds need to have everything. I jus don't understand why their one defense mechanism was taken away.
