Supply/Demand of Pink Items & Trading

I don't know if it's apparent to anyone else here, but if one were to try bartering for REALLY high demand Pink items with just platinum, did you know you would be pouring more than a $100 to this game?


350k in-game Gold = $109.30 US (if u purchase 800p at $49.99). Certain pink items are going for 400-500k in game! Do the math...

Gold farming concepts aside, I think this is a bit ridonculous...

The economics of in-game currency and real life currency are a bit off scale, not that they need to be aligned or anything. But at some point if this is left unchecked, this could potentially blow up on your faces devs...
