Unlock locked maps with elite mode

So after reaching LVL:30 after the double XP weekend I decided I might wanna try elite out, one of my freinds told me I should do Nordr bosses for the drops, I had only unlocked up to Mt. Spyr in Nordr but I noticed when I switched to the elite maps that all of them were unlocked, so I went to the Hall of Vaeilhiem and a message popped up saying "gateway unlocked", when I went back to the normal maps, I noticed I had every single Nordr map unlocked even though I had only completed up to Mt.Spyr
