The best tactic for elite Caves?

I wonder, what is the best strategy for running elite Caves of Tarewa? Firstly, we tried to park groups of mobs which contain scorns (orange scorn-like guys with heavy dps) and kill others. Then, we skipped (and parked mobs we skipped through) and killed all spiders which spawned. It was bad idea, cuz boss spawned and joined the party, we retreated to reset him and suddenly pulled parked cluster of mobs. Secondly, we killed everyone at the start, then skipped. It was better, but I want to know if there is some better way to run this map.

And a bonus question: is parking effective in Jagged Trail? There aren't so good corners for parking.

Well, Never group the Mobs, if you're legendary kill by 2-3 in a group and make your way though it , well, I don't have much time to Elobrate it

better way to run is to pt with remiem.

Need a good tank. Kill up to a certain point and then run behind him until you reach boss spawn. Ask Ravagerx. He is a pro.

In trail no,only caves

There is only one place to park mobs in jagged trail early on, otherwise none of the corners allow enough room for it.

As for parking in caves, there is an effective way to do it, but also requires party members to know when and where those spots are. As you discovered, a stray arrow/fireball/shadow pierce and you end up in a world of hurt.

This method won't set any records either but its good for plat free players.

U have to figure out the map fully.

I usually got it by running regular map so I can make some strategies for elite map:
(A) how many exact kills we should get for spaw boss?
(B) which mobs can be designed to skipp because they r hard to deal with?
(C) which mobs r always easy to kill? Then we can kill them more on purpose instead of fighting with other mobs hard.
( for example,
mini dragons n spiders r always easy for killing.
yellow dragon, healers, n orange scorns r harder. )
(D) when is the good timing for running to boss?

In this map u mentioned.
Make boss spawn ALONE AFTER final spiders group r just all cleared.

Kill all mobs.
0 Entrance.
1 kill.
2 turn left.
3 kill.
4 turn right
5 kill.

Stop at the big dragons.

Your war at this point runs till the end( the very end pratically the door) he packs the mobs to the right and dies.
Revives at base and meets up with the party.

Now everyone ( war in front and without attacking run to the end LEFT of the map. You will still be followed by a handful of mobs bring you survival instinct out and clear them.

The boss won't spawn yet so kill backwards a couple of mobs and she will come out.


At boss fight maintain order in thecchaos by keeping the fight as far as possible from the left side of her cove. There remember you got at least 10 spiders plus a shaman waiting to eat you raw so don't go there.

This is tactic for a average party and takes 18-25 minutes.


For them pros that aren't got time to waste kill the mobs till the snake evreyone run till the RIGHT end of the cove and withstand The hoards of mobs ( the spiders are weak so it is possible) and afterwards boss will spawn.

This takes 9-15 minutes.
