IIRC, the winter festival is 10 platinum. Buying platinum 75 at a time, that comes out to $1.33. Arguably they're way undercharging for the addons in PL, given that it's the most awesome game I've seen in a decade. Just buy the festival.
Its very good you get tons of greens and the quest for the Snowman Helmet is awesome just takes a while. I made like 30k gold selling all the greens i saved up from just that quests. Plus a hell of a lot of epics and legendarys from the toy man.
10 plat isnt much.. i made 500k with this dungeon and still have 12 pinks from...
