Advantages of Bow:
• Higher Damage
• Range
• Long Ranged Charged Stun
• More Mana (+130 over Daggers)
• Higher Skill Damage
• 10% heal on charged or normal attack (a gimmick IMO, as that is a lesser heal than Samael since skills do not apply to this).

Advantages of Daggers:
• Shield + Damage Proc (Increased survivability & +24 damage boost)
• Higher Health (+182 over Bow)
• Higher DPS
• Higher Critical % (+4%)

Keep in mind that it is very difficult to use a bow's auto attack in between skills. If you try right after an Aimed, Nox, Pierce combo, it does not work. The only place you can use it is in between Aimed + Nox or as your leading arrow. So, you will be getting less attacks in.

Also, I have doubts about the bush proc. It seems to be there to support your party more. However, with DoT, from a PvE perspective, could generate a lot of aggro towards you and get you killed. In PvP, a DoT could also get you killed via curse. So, the proc seems to have its trade offs while with the dagger proc, it is only a boost.

Lastly, keep in mind that damage is already very high this cap. Increase in damage is not what I think we needed, but an increase in health and armor to stop the one hits in PvP and also increase survivability in Tindirin.

What are your thoughts? Feel free to disagree, I just feel that it will not be that great. However, if somebody can change my mind, I'd love to hear it!

In pvp, I think that the brush proc will not even matter because you will one-hit anything you combo.. And who needs crit when your combo does 4k+ without it?
Also, Damage needs to be nerfed in pvp. This game seems to be turning into who can one-shot the other guy first, almost only dependent on luck. I liked the days when a 1v1 in pvp actually took skill, not just gear. And for that matter, I like the days when the game actually took skill, not just gear.
As for pve, I'm not exactly sure. Daggers have been preferred over a bow when the two have similar stats just because of how you can fit auto-attacks into your skill rotation. I'm interested to see the bow's impact on pve.

The DoT effect of the proc shouldn't taunt. At least, the Magmatic Claymore proc doesn't seem to taunt. If it does, it is a very small taunt and nothing a single cast of HoR/WM can't clear up.

I think the new mythics got heavily hit by the new attempts to slow down on how (damage-weapon level) used to scale (53 --> 54 DEX). The bow special procedure is very weak IMO but standing in any of the bushes will make you unable to be stunned; then again that contradicts the rogue running-around playstyle and timed packs grabbing is still far more important, considering the chances the new mythic bow has to realize the bushes in the first place.

130 extra MP means another Aimed Shot, no realistic difference here and not a good trade off for the HP decrease. Overall, too much fuss over nothing - I'd rather have new mythic amulets with a solid armor boost to make PvP more skill-oriented.

I still think the per shot health return should go to mages' gun (albeit stronger, like at 50 - 60%) and the per shot mana return (maybe down to 10%) should go to the rogues.

Mages gain an uber amount of health return. Rogues gain a decent buff to mana return. Would do a damn decent job of balancing things considering how absolutely unkillable wars will be with new weapon.

If this doesn't happen... well... I guess we can expect another pvp season of unbreakable warrior walls.

Meh, this looks like rogue's time to thrive in PvP. Keep in mind warriors will soon no longer be able to skill swap which is what made them so OP.

People go and make their sorcerers and rogues pure INT and pure DEX and then each class complains that they lack HP or MP which is very funny IMO.

This has also eliminated the warrior's need for INT (of course DEX is useless to them) since the other two classes have focused on dealing the highest damage possible. And since veng recovers mana based on incoming damage.. yeah, we kind of brought this situation to ourselves.

Daggers better. Those raw stats disgust me - one more dex point than L36 daggers? Hah!

Somehow though the proc may be better, dunno yet.

IMO the bush should be like a misty and remove debuffs not just slow/stun.

I have been looking forward to the bow since I first heard of it but seeing them together makes me want daggers again damage increase is not substantial enough to warrant the health loss. Imo daggers proc wins hands down too, bow will be good for the clashes though

If the proc on Elondrian is anything like the proc on Entangled.(Sounded good on paper, terrible in game.) Then mythic bows will keep the record of worst procs imo.

My opinion is the 10% hp recovery is useless and should be traded with the the mage's mana recovery. Also maybe instead of bush proc it could be a 5 second buff that made you immune to stuns/snares?

Keep in mind the damage from bush is still a proc. And damaging procs are almost always unoticeable. Especially in Elites.

I learned with Razors that once you start swigging those things you're stuck for a second until that last swing catches up to your thumb/key stoke. This makes it difficult to evade and (At least in my case) work that NoxBox correctly. That alone makes me looks at the upcoming bow in a brighter light.

Idk what youre talking about tbh. I can move while swinging daggers whenever. And never using the noxboxthingymawhateverthehellitis, I loved the dags.

was kind of hoping for an OP bow too, but this thing just decreases your hp and the proc is a support proc. Even my 10plat raiding bow has a proc of +15dex!

It would be Prime if the bow proc was and AoE Armor debuff as oppose to a heal.

Its different at least. The proc seems like could be good. Health not so much since so small return. Best to just try them out in game when release. You cant judge a book by its cover as they say ya know. :)

I personally prefer a bow vs rogue since a good stun will kill easily, and I'm usually not that close to them since I'm always running to packs, lol..but against other classes I spam auto attack more.
