People will continue to open them for mythics after the event until they have all been used up

We know this... my question is what will happen with the essences? Will we still be able to craft into elo?
It's just like any other past events, you will still have the recipe to liquidate or keep, but it can't be crafted after the eventQuote:

No they don't disappear, The recipes and the crafting material will not disappear after event, they can be liquidated for gold and they will not be craftable after the eventQuote:
