I think the day is fixed, but STS don't want ppl escalating prices of the 'other' crafting elements or such. Remember the Singe fiasco involving the Nekro quest. Singes sold upwards of 40 million!

its 12:23 AM in forum time , and when the huge events are released its usually 6-7 pm , so i'd say in the upcoming 8 hours :)
