Trouble Connecting to Server

I just installed the game on my ipad 2 and each time i try to connect the app just says "Connecting to server...."

I have tried reinstalling it, turning on and off my ipad. I read somewhere that it could be a DNS problem. I have access to my router settings which is a Netgear WPN824N.

How do you configure your ports so they are working correctly i got this email from support but i am not sure how to configure the ports.

You’ll need to be able to do the following:
1. Resolve DNS entries for auth.pocketlegends.com
2. Establish outgoing tcp connections on ports 80, 443, and 4050-4100 to the following addresses:

204.236.230.172
204.236.233.29
50.16.241.142
50.16.241.214
50.16.241.220
50.16.241.225
50.16.241.233

The servers are down at the moment. First time since the beginning of the game and not STS fault but rather with courtesy of Amazon.com. :D

Okay i will wait and hopefully it will work out. Any details to when they might up again?

I have the same problem... I cant connect with the server but after the update. I have just connecting server...... And i wait and wait, wait.... :(

devs want peeps to read outrage threads and post there instead of starting new threads covering the same topic. The server problems have to do with Amazon Web Services. Sts has no control over the situation. so, please do not make new threads.

Try again tomorrow - still several hours yet before Amazon thinks their service *might* be recovered enough for us to bring the servers back up.

How's the situation now? Just wake up after sleep, server still down, can give some info how's the situation and the preview time for the server up again? Thx

Well hopefully things will be up by tomorrow, common amazon don't let us down.

i cant connect either
what is it which amazon has done exactly?

i was playing the game and got into level 14, before i could not connect anymore. It just stands Connection to server...
Please help!
