please tone down the elixir button flashing with next client

Hi, someone else made a thread about this but i can't find it.

Anyway, I'm finding the bright white flashing of the elixir button on the bottom of the HUD distracting and unpleasant. I don't mind at all the even brighter flashing that happens to warn you that there's one minute left on your elixir. It's the periodic flashes that happen when one doesn't have an active lix. I'm finding those will unnecessarily draw my attention even during intense game play.

Sometimes i use elixirs, sometimes i don't and i keep a stockpile in my stash at any rate. I think this bright white flashing came with the last client update. So my suggestion/humble request is this: can this be toned down a bit with the next client update which is coming before ursoth begins?
