Apostle and Temple Elixirs

Apostle and Temple elixir will give us balanced tokens like Effigy and Cryostar elixir? , Please tell me yes. Because we need a lot!!!!!

If I am not mistaken, the empty elixir vial costs 10 tokens, so even if the elixirs give you tokens, its of no use.
Currently the token rewards seem really harsh but I am guessing as we move further into the content, the rewards from bosses & dailies should shoot up to look better.

Could a dev clarify if these elixers have any special use other than a buff? And perhaps how long they last?

they are also used to craft the balanced mythic weapon (see crafting)
