Redesign and more Information!
since a few mentioned their disappointment about the new ebon items, i try to figure out why they are not so happy.
let's take this statement about the poor stats, wich are worse than the
endless, tainted, mire and even nightmare sets.
al these sets give immediate bonus, once equipped in the corrensponding
zone, like mire in fester.
the arcane ebon items don't have a "bonus" for a set (3/3, 6/6 or 7/7) and
(which i like) no aura (yeah!).
but these items bring additional INT, DEX and STR while playing / killing mobs.
these upgrades are not really measurable in game without checking stats.
of course it could be better to wear a full arcane over a lenghty map, since
you start .. lets say as a mage with 1200 INT, 80 DEX and 300 STR when the
Ring, Belt, Amulett push you to 1300, 150, 400 but you always have to check
for it and this is annoying and makes us belive, the initial stats are the stats
you have.
weapon and armor do reflect, damage, shield .. also great but not that easy
to measure.
so what about a redesign?
a slide out menu left, middle, opacity enabled with the main stats or choseable
stats to display. like the hotbar, but a statbar .. so to say.
could be narrow, half the width of "player info" but larger in height. a 90° turned
player info maybe?

ARM

you could easily see your stats, the progress of you ebon items and if it is
a red number, you got buff by lix, if its blue its ebon addon, if green it's by
your pets bonus. white for base stat number. might be a litte disco style
but since everyone cries for useless auras, i don't think it would be a
dealbreaker.
also the armor, damage and whatever buff by weapon and armor could be very
easily seen when active.
this, in my opinion is a huge bonus to gaming experience.
to save space, hotbar ist slideable also quest bar and chat, why not player stats
to minimize and a stats info?
