"Super Elites"

Was thinking of this as an idea to add more loot-dropping maps/make elite maps worth playing for people who aren't aiming for aps – might be difficult to implement but fun. What if killing the boss of an elite map had a small chance (maybe 5-10%) to open a portal that would lead to an insanely hard version of the same map, that could then have a chance to drop goodies (heroic versions of eggs, old mythics, elite chests with boosted rates, vanity versions of gear from that campaign...)?

We all know this won't get implemented but +1000000000 cuz game is so borring rn

+1 but it would probably kill the current “gambling on locked crates to git gud” meta so yea probably won’t get implemented

I like the idea of having revamped maps. It would be cool to farm a remixed version of Brackenridge where there are much more enemies, which scale to our level, and we get a small chance at looting an arcane, or a super rare vanity. The older maps were pretty nice and it would be cool to run through harder versions of them.

+1 but level balancing must be taken in consideration, wouldnt be fair if for example a full pt of op 61s that do elite nordr in under 1m couldnt do the new one.

'Nightmare' maps do sound like fun, but there are so many dungeons we'd have to make nightmare versions of.

Elite Zodias is coming soon, hopefully it will be difficult enough for you.
