A long time ago, there was a girl with not many friends. She marched through her first 18 years with a determined smile and a burning hope that she would one day be accepted. During her college years, she was teased and tormented, but still kept that ever-glowing smile on her face. She never married, never had a boyfriend, and lived out most of her time alone. As she laid in the hospice bed, dying of terminal stage three pancreatic cancer, one last thought crossed her mind. "What did I do to deserve this?". She cried herself into a sleep in which she would never wake up. No one attended her funeral.
