Lol, heres my theory

Rushers(like me in low lvl pvp) only rush for a reaction out of their opponents the bigger the reaction the more they rush. Just like bullying when you get bullied just dont do anything adventually they'll get bored so next time someone rushes play possum they'll edventually get bored. Also dont go saying ill rush you forever after they rush you. It just fuels the fire :) /end theory

In other words, rushers are trolls :0. If you play possum, chances are they will farm you for kills. I would just not respawn and pretend to be afk so they wont get the satisfaction of making someone rage ;).

Here's my theory--20% of rushers rush to make you mad or get a reaction. 30% rush because they don't know better. 49% rush because they're bored. (and 1% rush because they're the "FFA revolutionists" lol)

As for the ffa revolutionists I just watch them die they call ffa I hide behind trees and watch the fun. I ffa on my terms or agreed by all.

Depends on what your def of rushing is. I assume its if youre unprepared for a fight with another. If so, you can be unprepared the second time around too.
