Old locked crates

They were never promised to become obsolete and die.
Many of the crates have just gone extinct along with the odds to loot them (for plat)

Allow us to use our plat in all ways possible and not limiting them only to new locks.

Please consider adding all the old locked crates all types(massive /normal) to the loot table of bosses so it gives another incentive to farm.

It will be fun to be able to watch who gets what kind of lock and since prices differ depending on the items they hold.

Even if the old locks don't give the new arcanes, there's more rewards /vanity etc in those locks that we would like to spend money on.

And also we work for it by looting then and bringing them into the market so why not.
This will rekindle the non gold loot part too, farming for exciting loot since you've made a huge assortment of locked crates of the past.

Please let us know your thoughts on this.

This would make farming 1k boss in low level area for seasonal actually fun.,

just 1 or 2 crates for all 1000 bosses is perfectly fine.
& to elaborate, that means they sell for 1m<, each. Rather than 10k.

-1 it would kill the rarity of cool old locks vanities like nature, infernal etc.
We need a completely new locks for each zone with new pvp/pve gear and vanities related to the zone they would be running

That's exactly why it should be back.
To restore the numbers.
They never said it won't be back.
It's not like the odds of looting the rares are being tweaked.
Plus adds a good alternative to gold farming by just adding a pre-existing item with demand.
Prices of these massive locks can go up with respect to the rares they're housing.

About your suggestion,
there ARE new locks being released every event, with new pve /pvp gear with vanities pertaining to the zone running

Making a communism simulator from the game is easy way to kill it (I was even playing a game where devs did similar things with helping inflation to rise and re-releasing rares and now this game is almost dead, it's called City of Chaos, before School of Chaos MMORPG).
Restoring old cool stuff would mean economy crash and panic. Lb vanities would rise in their price even more and even less players will be able to get them. Normal cool vanities would get massively cheaper to the point where many would get them. Doing so will only deepen the differences between the low-middle and high classes. Many people would either stop playing AL, because the only "premium" vanities would be lb ones and their price would be even higher than before, so they would give up in trying to get gold to buy them or either more players would illegally sell gold/stuffz because there wouldn't be other things to do in AL (noz not everyone can play 15h per day during lb events just to be in top 10).
Devs re-released green arlor sets once (and once they did something with gold lb sets by accident) and after that they didnt do that again. They probably realized it's bad idea.

About my suggestion - I was talking about completely different thing. I meant new locks with new gear/vanities related to the zone they were running. For example, if players would be running nordr maps they would be able to loot locks with new mythic/arcane gear (+ vanities with design related to nordr zone) with the lvl based on the zone they were running (let's say that nordr gear would be for 21-26lvl). Gold drop in these maps could be adjusted too, it wouldn't negatively affect the inflation, because lvling up to 81lvl takes 1 day and sunken would give proportionally more gold than lower lvl maps.

Yes they did. Thats why event recipe's expire nowadays and only be crafted duration the duration of the event. Before, people would stock up on the recipe's and craft any lock indefinitely.

One reason could be to shift platinum expenditures to new locks to provide steady income for them.

Also, I agree with the user above me.

- Only lb vanities would keep its rarity; this is bad since people are left with even lesser options to buy an exclusive/rare vanity. And a secondary effect of everyone wanting lb vanities, they'll rise even more to the point that owners would rather keep/sell them for real money.

- Economy would crash with the sudden revival of locks where people would absolutely go crazy on em - especially ones with Nature/Marvel vanities. Those who saved and grinded to afford one of them will all be screwed, and most likely have no motivation to play the game and quit. Also, those who plan to buy one of them will have no reason to spend it on something that suddenly became common.

If it isn't pve, or pvp, then collecting vanities is what players do. There's a massive market for vanities not limited to only leaderboard ones. Let us not screw them over.
