Downtown - NEW Environment Locations! (Campaigns, Stations, Enemies)

Good Day Developers and Everyone! As 2024 is about to leave, new opportunities awaits for us in 2025! And before we turn the page, we would like to share to you the idea of DOWNTOWN! After months of creation, Downtown is finally here!

Downtown is a NEW Environment Location, blending Past, Present, and Future. An interconnected locations featuring Modern Vampire Adventure. Downtown is a Sample Model of Expansion and inspired from all of our previous suggestions posted below as references.

In Downtown, where we can explore new and more locations to socialize, to experience New Gameplay as we discover New Social Environments, New Campaigns Maps with different types of themes. New Stations that leads to New Dungeons located in different types of environments and facing New types of Enemies or Bosses! These types of Campaign Maps or Dungeons can introduce certain maps that has it's own level of difficulty (Elite Mode), as these maps requires multiplayer this can promote the essence of cooperation and promotes social interaction among players from around the globe. These types of maps has the ability to drop new items or to rediscover old items and the chance to loot them once again.

Explore the beauty of DOWNTOWN! Each place stands for it's unique purpose and introduces new themes, environment, and opportunities. "So go downtown, things will be great when you're downtown." :eagerness:

Here are the list of Social Spots, Campaigns, Stations located in Downtown:

SUBWAY STATION
➟ This will serve as the bridge between Vampire District and Downtown.

THE PLAZA AND THE PIT (TRAINING ARENA)
➟ The Plaza is the main spawn location of Downtown. And in the middle, a spot called The Pit will serve as a training ground for players who wants to practice and have fun with their friends without worrying K/D Ratio, where players are allowed to use any kinds of equipments and vanities inside the arena.

NIGHTCLUB (SANCTUARY)
➟ This place will serve as a Sanctuary wherein players can gather around and to socialize.

NIGHT MARKET
➟ A place where it can be used for socializing or merching. We can also access our stash and auction.

STADIUM
➟ New PvP Arena. Good for Duels or War Games. This place will allow other players to be spectators during active matches. (ability to view player's gameplay while spectating)

DOWNTOWN HALL
➟ Large building consists of multiple floors for players to roam around, to socialize and to discover other Spacetime Studios Games featured inside the Hall. (it's the same advertisement at Old Town where the billboards features other Spacetime Studios Games) Including Dark Legends advertisements, this is to allow players to learn more about the game and to show what the game offers.

ESTATE (GUILD HALL AND HOUSING SYSTEM)
➟ Access to Guild Hall.
➟ This place will allow us to buy a House Deed. With the ability to build and customize including interacting with our furnitures such as sitting on the chair, lying on a bed. An option where we can choose and buy any background location for our house. Reference for Housing Systems are posted below.

SOCIETY BANK
➟ A place where we can take Quests or turn-in quests as well as accessing our stash. These Quests will reward different types of currencies upon completing them, currencies that can be used in different ways such as buying respec scrolls, buying furniture slots, and more! References for Daily Quests and DQ Tokens (Currencies) are posted below.

JEWELRY SHOP
➟ To spice up the newly weds experience, why not add the ability to buy wedding rings to indicate the love for each other. Wedding Ring is visible and can be seen when viewing one's character, located on our Name Tag (Bar). Wedding Rings that can be purchased using Platinum, because of course marriage life cannot be cheap!

POST OFFICE
➟ This place will serve as a bridge of communication between players. If the player is currently offline they will automatically receive the message sent by another player once they logged in. Some services are for free, while some might require payment (platinum) for sending offline messages. This is helpful when dealing business with other players.

MUSEUM (SHOWROOM)
➟ This place will allow players to showcase their equipments, vanities, titles, badges and more. In order to do this, one must buy a spot (showroom) inside the Museum. The showroom has an option to be set as public or private viewing. There will be different types of rooms to choose from, you can expand your room by purchasing more slots, it requires either Gold or Platinum in order to use these services.

CARNIVAL
➟ This can be a great opportunity to introduce mini games. Requires Gold or Platinum in order to access them. Mini Games such as Slashing Games, Killer Maze, Last Man Standing, and More! Reference for these Mini Games are posted below.

CASINO
➟ Casino has multiple slot machine, these can serves as an actual slot machine where we can get certain equipments or vanities or even random gold by playing the slot machines. Can be accessed using Gold or Platinum.

MIDNIGHT GARDEN/MIDNIGHT PARK
➟ This place will serve as a another place for players to gather around, chill and talk to their friends, surrounded by grass and in the middle you can find a bloody fountain.

CAMPING SITE/GROUND
➟ What's better way to spend our night? Multiple tents can be seen, campfire with camping tents and tables.

MIDNIGHT BEACH
➟ A portal serves as a shortcut to the current Midnight Beach.

SPECIAL SOCIAL HOLIDAY SPOTS
Social Holiday Spots built with decorations and themes matches the current holiday, could be available only during specific holiday season. Sample Social Spots during holiday seasons includes:

1. The Gilded Sands (during Summer)
2. Liberty Park (Independence Day)
3. Spectral Cemetery (Halloween)
4. Bounty Fields (Thanksgiving)
5. Frostbound Courtyard (Winter)

NEW CAMPAIGN MAPS LOCATIONS INSIDE DOWNTOWN

1. University
~ continuation of University Hills Campaign Story, to investigate more the story of the Dean, the professors and it's students.

2. Towers/Buildings
~ consists of multiple floors, fight against humans inside these buildings.

3. Library
~ witches are scattered around this place as they try to hide their most precious artifacts, consists of multiple floors.

4. Prison
~ consists of multiple floors, face and eliminate werewolves once again.

5. Laboratory
~ continuation of Dr. Kriegberg Story and exploration of his laboratories.

6. Mall
~ zombies ended up occupying this place when humans abandoned it.

7. Mansion
~ discover more places as we locate the Vampire Hunters and their hideout.

8. Police Station
~ learn more about the CPD, Carvina Police Department and their activities.

9. Abandoned Subway
~ zombies and ghouls are scattered everywhere, fight for your survival.

10. Mausoleum
~ fight your way through Demons, Gigantic Bats and Gargoyles.

DOWNTOWN TERMINAL
➟ This place will allow us to navigate to other Stations that leads to New Dungeons with different Environments, listed below.

NEW CAMPAIGN STATIONS WITH NEW ENVIRONMENT THEMES AND LOCATIONS (New Types of Dungeons, Hardcore Boss, Elite Mode Maps)

These NEW Stations can introduce Elite Mode Maps with hardcore bosses. This is to spice up our gameplay facing and challenging old or new enemies and bosses consisting different level of difficulty allowing players to team up and fight together against a common enemy. How can we connect these Stations and their Dungeons to the Vampire Concept of the game?

Vampires are creatures that moves to one place to another in order to preserves their bloodlines and hide their identity. We can use this storyline as the vampire nation and the Council also tried migrating and ended up building these stations for themselves, think of it as an Outpost or a place you can also call Home. These Stations and it's Dungeons are a great opportunity to introduce New Enemies or Bosses to expand more and explore more the other World of Vampire Nation!

However, threats will be always around the corner, these stations will serves as the NEW bridge connecting to NEW Dungeons as the fight goes on to defend the Vampire Nation from all possible threats!

Boss Mechanics: Certain boss from each Stations can be available for a certain period of time like for Dragons and Minotaurs. Can be played with 5-10 numbers of players depends on it's level of difficulty. Once defeated, the boss has a chance to drop rare items. After this, the boss will go back to hibernation and players will need to wait again to defeat these large monsters.

Sample Storylines and New Enemies or Bosses connected to each Stations it's Dungeons listed below.

ELDERGROVE SANCTUM STATION
➟ The Largest Station. It's dungeons composed of Terrains, Swamps, Marshland, Ruins and More! Vampire Nation and it's Council inhabitated this place for a long period of time to learn about their enemies.
♕ Enemies/Boss: Werewolves, Ghouls, Zombies, Witches, Gigantic Bats, Gargoyles

FROSTPEAK CITADEL STATION
➟ The station and it's dungeons surrounded with Glacier, Ice Field and Tundra for some of it's area. This was created to keep ourselves away from humans! Little did we know, werewolves are fond of this place as they inhabitated the cave near to this place and made it as their breeding ground.
♕ Enemies/Boss: Large Werewolves, Hunters

INFERNAL RIFT STATION
➟ Located away from humans and other familiar enemies, this station residing close to an active Volcano. As we thought we're free from these threats, a new monster has been awakened!
♕ Enemies/Boss: Dragons, Gigantic Bats, Demons

SHADOW MAZE DESERT STATION
➟ Located in a deserted place. A station where Vampire Council used to kept themselves safe without worrying about any threats. But the place itself has a secret passage connecting to a Labyrinth that can trigger a monster creature at any moment.
♕ Enemies/Boss: Minotaur, Humans, Hunters, Gigantic Bats

GALACTIC EXPANSE STATION
➟ A remote station that has been considered peaceful until now. Threats are just around the corner as humans and other extraterrestrial beings also try to explore this place.
♕ Enemies/Boss: Humans, Hunters, Robots, Alien Creatures

DEEPWATER MARINE STATION
➟ This was created to explore more the environments that surrounds us even those beneath us. A station where we can also interact with underwater species. Unfortunately, our enemies can find us wherever we go.
♕ Enemies/Boss: Humans, Hunters, Water Creatures

First of all, I'm impressed by the work and creativity you've put into this expansion concept. This would be amazing to have in the game. Even just some ideas would make a big difference and benefit.
I like the idea of opening up the game, making it more expansive with a bunch of areas to discover. Currently, the main spot is the Sanctuary, so why not have other hangouts? We urgently need new players, real new players, to fill these maps and multiplayer.
I love the idea of full multiplayer and elite maps, similar to AL. People would have to work together to finish the map and boss. It would be cool to have map-specific record runs in Dark Legends, like mini-leaderboards for the elite maps.
In general, I like the AL-oriented ideas like housing, furniture, and a mail system, while still focusing on farming, hunting, and experience. Combined with new loot and events, this would bring a whole new life to Dark Legends.
You've really put effort into this, and I hope to see most of it soon.

Well this took much time & coordination & what a grand result BOR!! As we await a hopeful level cap height, these ideas give so much to admire with the idea of each current location being augmented into an entire new location!

I really appreciate this post and the thought and work you put into it. These are great ideas and of course if these were to come to fruition I'd spend any amount to not only get started but to keep my investments growing. I read and thought about each suggestion as if imagining it.

Dark Legends is a great gaming concept and vampires are always popular. Combine that with MMORPG.... this game can really take off even more. Individuals I've seen love pay to win games. It's a fact sorry, and most amble around the app store looking for interesting games and ways to spend their money to come out on top. I'd happily spend platinum if several of these concepts were applied. Double to triple if were talking about 'casino or mini games, mini events, and etc... Those are fun and challenging!!

I didn't like it.So bad. Because it was like a different game. The unique maps of Dark Legends make me happier. This is like a different game. Better innovations can be brought. For example, an area equipped with underground and natural wonders. Or an extraordinary place. Yours , Your wishes may be in another game, but not in Dark Legends. I definitely didn't like it.

I'd recommend reading the whole content as you will find the underground and natural wonders you were looking for.

Underground Locations such as Abandoned Subway, Mausoleum, and Labyrinth. Natural Wonders or Extraordinary Places such as the Eldergrove Sanctum, Frostpeak Citadel, Infernal Rift, Shadow Maze, Galactic Expanse, and Deepwater Marine Stations. Including New Campaign Maps that will let us explore and lead us to the locations of our current enemies such as exploring Dr. Kriegberg's Laboratories.

All of these NEW Environment Themes and Locations are just an idea by helping and contributing to improve and to expand the current maps we have with also adding exciting gameplay such as Elite Mode Maps and more.

This is just a suggestion and a sample Model of Expansion I made, featuring Modern Vampire Adventure to mainly spread inspiration. Introducing different types of concept while still following and focusing on the main theme, previous and current content of the game.

I’ve really been enjoying the ideas shared here, especially the ones related to PvP and housing. The concepts are well thought out and would make great additions to the game.

Overall, these are well-developed concepts that could really add value. It’s always exciting to see such creative ideas being shared, and I hope some of them can be considered for future updates!
