New Borrowing Feature!

Dear Sts,

So here is the function which would avoid a lot of drama.

A „Borrowing“ button next to the gift button.
How should it work?

Borrowing:
Time: 12h / 24h / 36h / 72h / 1 week (whatever)
Items cant be sold/gifted/quick sale in inventory/stashed
After the timer runs out - it appears in your own inventory again

Example giving: So person A borrows his Cosmic (or whatever) Set to person B (not tradeable/saleable/giftable/stashable) - after 12h passed the items will appear in persons A stash (again tradeable) and has been taken out of person B inventory (even when person A/B is offline)

Thats all options you have been doing in the last couple of years - it would avoid many drama and many support requests, which are more comfortable for you and would gain you much more time

If i borrow gear for free from one person what the point of plat users to open locks if no one gonna buy gear and just borrow

Hope you are not that Sampvp who scammed me with Never few years ago - to prevent scammings - only someone who has bad intentions would think - its a bad idea. You can keep opening I wouldnt still give my items to a random person

I get the point of potential disruption of STS profits. But other than that, lending and borrowing has been going on for a while now. This system might only make the lending/borrowing which happens voluntarily to be more secure and safer. It's not like OP gear is going to be lent to players anyways since the players who have the OP gear will be extremely reluctant to give it in the first place.

Also this highlights the issue with the market right now. Players are literally dependent on other players who loot things for real money and then auction or sell it. If the whales don't exist the game doesn't exist. And if that's the case, whales own the game and STS loves the whales. Where does this lead 2 years or so from now? Pay to win? Play to win?

The game has been progressing gracefully imo. Hopefully the game retains players. It is a fun game at the moment. I hope it stays like that. It's all in the hands of devs end of the day.
