I believe it closes after 1 minute.
It didn't feel like 1 minute tbh but anyway at least you confirmed it does go away, thanks!
Nevertheless I believe that one of the rarest things in game should not just disappear without a notice like poof gone. It still hurts me 😆
Consider adding a closure notice like all other portals in the game have.
