2 very popular bugs in game

Hi, i want to tell about the bugs in the game that are breaking the gameplay atm. Both bugs have been thoroughly tested and there can be no mistake.

1st bug
The procs krak daggs, krak staff and all types of blood arts are not considered as hits. So, when they work, they not only do not help activate the other procs, but also clear all mobs without giving any chance to proc others. The description of the proc says that it triggers when damage is dealt, but in fact this does not happen.
We tested this purely and didn't use any skills with DoT effects. The exception is krak aegis, its proc helps well.

2nd bug
Quite an old bug: haste does not work correctly with a bow. Aim shot, toxic arrow, even basic bow attacks - each of them has the problem of two CDs with high haste. You just can't shoot them properly like mage's lightning. This can be easily checked by anyone, just use krak bow proc and try spam aim shot.

1st - procs are based on damage output, its rng
2nd - its not a bug, bows arent affected by haste. Rogue wise pierce works equivalently fast to lightning from mage. Aimed shot is the equivalent of fireball in terms of cooldowns.

I specifically highlighted the fact that krak aegis proc activates other procs very well, this means that something is not working correctly.

Would like to hear devs answer

I'll investigate.

We are currently looking into issues where certain damage actions can cause server problems (like infinite loops that cause players to endure connection problems, high ping, etc.) and I think this issue with the krak aegis could be a culprit.

I do understand what you're asking about: you are asking why the other damage auras from krak weapons aren't doing the same sort of hit damage as the aegis... and, though I can't say for sure right now, I think the reason is due to them being implemented correctly while the aegis is incorrect.


As for the haste on bows - yeah it's not a thing. I think the easiest way to explain is: our haste system does not affect the flight time of the arrows.

1) My tests were: using kraken weapon with all other procless items (inside a lot of mobs) only by attacks, no DoTs, no bleedings until i get proc of weapon; then (when my kraken weapon get proc) I switch my gears to some arcanes which has proc. And difference is: damage from kraken daggers/staff doesnt cause any other item to proc (like arcane armor or artifact or any else) but kraken aegis does and my warr proc everything else easily just by krak aegis damaging aura. So it would be nice if daggers/staff would work same way as aegis

2) It's "a thing" because aimed shot is one of two main damaging skills on rogue, and its cooldown depends on 'casting animation speed' and 'arrow fly' more than on %haste... I mean, rogues want enjoy %haste too as other classes do, maybe just buff casting animation speed and arrows fly speed (or atleast one of them) for aimed shot and normal bow attacks... arrows so slow in current game situation, average ms set makes us move faster than our arrows ...

1) I get it. That said, I am not going to expressly make things worse by breaking the other two weapons. I hope you understand but I do feel that this fix, like most fixes, will be frowned upon ;-)

2) Haste affects ability cooldowns the same for everyone. It's not going to speed up projectiles.

Please don't fix it by nerfing anything. It takes away from the fun. If anything enabling Kraken from other classes to follow the same setup as Aegis will help for sure.

This is potentially one of the reasons the Blood Artifact has a seemingly "bad proc rate" as Rogue. Even if the numbers show the proc chance is same across all classes, factors like this are 100% going to impact gameplay and proc chance in reality, considering how fast paced runs are at end game.

Personally, i found a reasonably effective way to proc overall, but changes like this will definitely help a class. Seems fair ya?

@Devs,

Any chance this setup of Kraken Shield can be applied to Kraken Daggers/Kraken Staff? Where the damage dealt counts towards enabling the procs of other items, (like Blood Arti mainly).

As of right now the Kraken Bow works to proc the Blood Arti why not make the Daggers/Staff follow the same setup? Most players depend on the Blood Arti 100% to clear, specially Rogues, considering how much AOE/utility is lacking in the kit via procs, skills. After the slight tuning which done on Kraken gear the Blood Arti is literally the only option viable to clear efficiently in end game runs.


Please consider this, I honestly cannot see a downside in doing this, rather, it would improve overall gameplay for every one.
