The lightning is only meant to indicate that the damage-over-time effect has been applied.
There are impact visual effects on your target for the duration of this effect.
We don't intend for that lightning to be pouring down onto the target for the full 10 seconds.
Understanable cause the rogue blood chakram lighting is shown permanently until proc ends which is cool so i thought the mage one was bugged out but seems not to be the case thank for clarfyingQuote:

Showing the full 2 sec. each time the impact happens is not intentional - and will be fixed.
