Capes vanities with physics effects and banners adjustment

You said in the past that you find difficulty to create capes vanities, after that you create those banners with physics effects, I can't say they arent beautiful but I don't see any use them.
From what I see my eyes you can create capes with physics effects only if you adjust the placement from up to slightly down, so basically I'm talking about , you to create capes in banner type with option to adjust the position placement.

Banners mostly work because they rarely intersect with existing geometry. That's not the case with a cape which would often be between the character and what they are wearing on their back (wings/backpacks/etc.).
