Try this, cuz it works for me.
Collect allies gold then farm whole campaign.
If u are farming for manic, then do red light district , jobs . I mostly do the 2hr jobs
But try to mix them up
U will notice more stuff drop in map.
But to drop vanity its the way u kill them creeps. I kill them in groups and always on feeding mode, (its like having elixer on)
