No when you open the chest it says it cost i think it says 7 but never takes from your plat :)

I've read somewhere that Founder's Chests were removed due to the Founder items being discontinued. It would make sense hence the word 'discontinued'.
Seems like a big and pops up right srry competing tutorial. I haven't tried it again to actually see if the chest is in my inventory
