Sorry mate I won’t argue with your criticism over something you don’t even want, lol! its a waist of time. Go for the debate, can’t guarantee that i have the time to read - nor respond to your debate over a virtual item that only cost you time, that you freely donated, knowing there was not any time line when the vanity/prizes will be granted.

Should really overthink the concept before the next community contest. I doubt its a good choice to host one again if it costs devs so much time. There are more useful areas to invest that into imo. Some might have fun doing this and disagree with me on that one but I would vote for no further contests of this kind. Just my opinion.

This was a cool event, though it felt like it went on for a bit too long. Point tracking should also be automated if this event is to happen again.

It was insane the first time. Everyone pushed STS to run the event. I applaud Remi for taking it up. Everyone should give her all the time she needs to do alone what it took a team from multiple guilds plus automation to accomplish the first time.

To be honest i only did 1 to 2 entries for each class each week doing it myself or a party member doing it just enough to pass the recs for the vanities. I think it's gone out of hand due to the 1k + photos submitted by the players going for the prizes I think this is how it's gone south because there's not enough workforce to manage this amount. That being said yes if it is so time demanding it's not a good idea to use a Devs time in this way. [emoji51]

What I could suggest is next time

Only accept multiple submissions after certain amount of time has passed for each week, that way everyone gets to see if they name has been updated

I'd be fine with granting everybody who entered in the last week gets a banner, as there was only a reason to enter the last week if you did the previous weeks.

I was thinking if there is any chance to change slightly the strategy regarding these vanities?

What if the countdown of the entries should start with the 6th week and then track down who attempted that week and compare with other weeks.

I understand that it's very difficult for one person to do the counting and I'm supporting the effort which has been put into but we kinda need those nice vanities though !

Don't get bother to scold me that I have lost my patience. I'm not complaining, im looking for some solutions over here since some time has passed by already.

Not downplaying rem because it is time consuming and I have empathy but, If full attention was put towards this, It could be completed within a week or two no doubt.
