I wanted to recognize alot of your efforts as a guild. We know about our LB ppl but it's all the help I see being given by many of our other guildies. This event was ok (though I didn't participate or reach platinum tier lol) though I hope everyone (especially universalpro my fellow broke friend) earned something out of it. :D
Also gratz to all guildies on LB (hoho your lucky I wasn't serious)
Im glad your hard work paid off in the end with you managing the guild and at the same time trying to keep your positions.
PS I might not be on since pre-mocks are nearing (will come on during my free time :thumbup: )

Congrats to all who got LB and anything else they wanted to out of the event. I'd like to thank those that helped me in the last two days rush by Alt to Platinum so I have a Para gem in reserve. I was on Team WT4 most of the event not Team Event.
The only things I will suggest for future events are the following...
1. Make sure you have revives whether it is Ankh or Plat. Bosses like Paracelsus become super difficult if you are not reviving. More than once I was the only one in party using revives and believe me it felt like a waste and was very frustrating. Personally I prefer Plat with current Ankh prices but follow Ankh prices and buy when there is a dip.
2. Listen to strategies. Honestly I hated the strategy I saw some take of having one party member hold outside the Para Poison. I did much better with teams where all were fighting and I usually did para without dieing or if I did it was just once or twice.
3. Buy Kelvin if you don't have either Kelvin or George. Kelvin is a little better than George because of shorter cool down but both pets have 100% stun for many bosses, including event bosses up until now. A well organized party that effectively rotates their stuns you can nearly stun lock a boss like Para. So homework for next event... Buy Kelvin and level him up, he may be a one trick pony but it is a very useful trick!
4. Now this is personal opinion only but one thing that irked me just a little during the event was folks waiting in GC asking to be invited when someone found Para. I mean it would be great to find the top boss 100% of the time but someone has to find him. I have much more fun working with a good party that runs event maps continuously for at least an hour or two. This does require buying or manufacturing energy but you level much faster. For my main, Thrindal, I had 50+ forged energy left over from Ursoth and was able to make Platinum level within a couple hours of the event opening without buying a single energy. I then ran WT4 most of the rest of the event and have almost 60 energy waiting for the Winter event. My alt, Swicka, I only started using the last weekend of the event, this was a mistake on my part but I was able to reach Platinum within two days and only had to buy about 10 energy. The rest I used left over Ursoth energy.
Next event I am going to change up my strategy however. I will use Thrindal for event runs to max level but will run WT4 mostly with my Mage Swicka because Mage's are a beast in Tombs. I will also run my mage in event maps but will do so at a slower pace than Thrindal because I have no reserve energy left on Swicka due to my late start.
Overall I enjoyed the event and liked seeing so many Immaculate on the LB's. I found I just couldn't keep pace after the first 3-4 days of the event so I went the WT4 route to maximize my profit. Now I just have to sell it all so I can have some Gold to spend.

BTW, I had an "event" of my own few days ago. You all know Foksii,right? I use her as my own toon,but it's actually my gf's toon. She started playing cause of me,and she knows how much I love AL so she decided to paint me something for our anniversary. She started to visit sections of glass art,and finally she signed up for it. She painted my toon on a big piece of glass and I love it that much that I had to share it with all of you :)

What will be interesting is whether you can farm enough bosses without Mythics to get the new legendaries. My bet is with the right party you will but Planar should be a PUG free zone unless you are farming deaths.Quote:
