I agree with ralchior on this one. Legend of korra and avatar the last airbender r great shows but not technically anime, at least not the kind we talk about on here.

Although anime IS short for animation, most people reference anime to japanese animations. I wouldn't consider Regular Show an anime.

Guess it's all how you perceive it but the word anime certainly has not japanese roots. If you live in Japan, everything is anime. :D

Watched Tokyo ESP today, totally worth it! If your into action with plot you'll almost definitely enjoy this!
Hai I know what Tokyo is.
I am currently watching sword art online 2, Tokyo ghoul, akame ga kill and aldnoah.zero.

Wow this thread got long
Sometimes I watch slice of life to get some feels :'(
And they hit me right in the feels :'(
Have any of you seen yuyu hakusho?
If you like a bit of romance animes as I do, try to watch "Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo" its one of the best at this genre, sadly not that popular. Its also shows differences between talented peoples and "normal" ones..
And if want some action to romance try watch "Bakemonogatari" (I have heard there are second season, well kind off adaption to story. But its only in Japanese language now :/).
Both of those gave me alot of nice feelings, and art is amazing!
But its for more mature peoples I believe, no its not that it needs cencor, but it gives something to think about.. Really deep animes..
